A GDM 69 three doors. Each door closes using a string attached to a weight, which runs through pulleys or copper tubing, and is held to the top of door. The pulleys or copper tubing can be accessed by removing the aluminum siding located inside cabinet on either side. The left side contains the pulley and weightfs or left and center door, the right for right door (each held on by 4 1/4 screws) . To make the door close, simply make sure string is attached to weight, running though pulley, and attached to top of door.

Bangs and sqeels during high spin cycle, also there are plastic shavings in sink

This could be an easy fix if the counter weight came loose from the top of the tub shell which is a common problem causing banging. Unplug the unit and pull the unit out from the wall disconnection the water hoses after turning of the water. Remove the back panel to inspect the counter weight, spider pulley and belt. If the counter weight is not broken you can reattach it to tub shell and retighten the bolts. If it is broke it is about $30.00 plus shipping. Inspect the spider pulley which is attached to the tub with the belt around it. If it is not broken, you can turn the pulley by hand to check the tub bearings for free movement. Make sure the belt is in good shape and attached to the motor spindle and spider pulley. If the spider pulley is broken you may have to order a new pulley. If you have to remove the spider pulley you may want to use a gear puller from an auto parts store to remove the pulley. If you turn the pulley by hand you should not hear scraping. If you do in could be the bearings or a screw is rubbing against the shell. If you have to replace the outer tub shell (approximately $300.00 for parts only). I would unbolt the bolts holding the shell and find where the tub or screw is rubbing so you do not have to replace the expensive shell.

I may have overloaded my Frigidaire Pin #134465400 0410 front loading washing machine. On the last load it did not complete the spin cycle and there is water laying in the bottom of the drum. When I try...

Pull the unit out from the wall and unplug it. Remove the back panel and check the counter weight (looks like a cement quarter round cement block), spider pulley and belt. The counter weight is attached to the top of the drum and can loosen and fall to the bottom damaging the spider pulley. If the counter weight is firmly attached to the top of the washer drum and the belt is attached to the spider pulley and motor, remove the top cover and lower front panel.
With any luck the counter weight knocked the belt off. If you are unlucky the counter weight broke the spider pulley.

Need replace power steering pump

This is how the steps on how to changepower steering pump on GMC K1500. First you have to disconnect the battery byturning the positive terminal bolt counterclockwise and removing the lead. Thendisconnect the lower power steering line by turning the line nutcounterclockwise. Allow the pump to drain in the drain pan. Once the pump isdrained, disconnect the upper line by turning the line nut counterclockwise. 2. But on older models, turn the adjustmentmount bolt counterclockwise until the tension on the primary drive belt isrelieved. Remove the belt from the power steering pump pulley. Remove theremaining mount bolts by turning them counterclockwise. Maneuver the pump fromthe engine. 3. On newer models, press the tensionpulley arm to slacken the belt enough to slide it from underneath the idlepulley wheel. Release the tension pulley arm. There should then be enough slackto take the belt from the power steering pump pulley. It may be necessary toremove the A/C compressor on some models. Remove it by having it evacuated ofall freon, removing the wiring harness adapter plug, removing the line nuts, and then turning the mount bolts counterclockwise; taking the compressor outgives improved access to the power steering pump. Remove the pump by using thespecialized tool (available for rent at an auto parts store) to turn the centermount bolt counterclockwise. Maneuver the pump from the engine compartment. 4. Replace the pump and attach the mountbolts by turning them clockwise. Reattach the line nuts by turning themclockwise. Replace the drive belt by the tension pulley method (serpentinebelts), or using the adjustment bolt to pull the pump to the desired belttension. Replace the fluid to the proper cold level. 5. Reconnect the battery by attaching thelead and turning the positive terminal bolt clockwise.

Machine was draining and spinning and became off balanced.it stopped working.when unplugged and then plugged back in, it will start to drain and try to spin but it makes a noise instead.help!

Check to make sure the drum springs and shocks are attached to the drum. I hope you only need to bolt the counter weight back on and no other damage to the machine is found, you should get bake to business in about 40 minutes.

I have a Fridiare front loading washer. Water comes in fine and is pumped out but washer will not spin. Tried to spin by hand and wont budge. Any ideas?

Pull the unit out from the wall and unplug it. Remove the back panel and check the counter weight, spider pulley and belt. The counter weight is attached to the top of the drum and is known to loosen and fall to the bottom of the unit damaging the spider pulley. If the counter weight is attached to the washer drum and the belt is attached to the spider pulley and motor than you will need to check the voltage on the motor. If you do not have voltage to the motor than the control unit may be defective.

Timing belt removal 94 mercury villager

Hi, Disconnect battery ground cable, then drain coolant. Remove accessory drive belts. Remove A/C compressor drive belt idler pulley (tensioner) bolts, then idler pulley (tensioner). Remove upper radiator hose bracket bolt. Loosen two upper radiator hose clamps, then remove upper hose and bracket. Remove coolant bypass hose between thermostat housing and intake manifold coolant outlet. Disconnect main wiring harness from upper front cover (timing belt) cover, then remove eight upper timing belt cover bolts, then the upper cover, Fig. 20. Raise and support vehicle. Remove right front wheel and tire assembly and splash shield. Use strap wrench tool No. D85L-6000-A, or equivalent, to hold water pump pulley while removing water pump pulley bolts. Remove water pump pulley from water pump. Remove crankshaft pulley. Remove five lower timing belt cover attaching bolts and the cover. Rotate crankshaft in a clockwise direction to align crankshaft and camshaft sprocket timing marks, Fig. 21. If timing belt is to be reused, mark direction of rotation. Loosen timing belt tensioner nut, then remove timing belt. CAUTION: With timing belt removed, avoid turning camshaft or crankshaft. If movement is required, exercise extreme caution to avoid valve damage caused by piston contact.
Take care

Hi the weight plates get struck when i am doing workout when I put on 2 weight plate and when I do heavier weight it feel i like not smooth. I notice that the weight plate is little side way when I pull...

I would the entire sequence of pulleys that lead from the lat/chest press cable to the weight stack itself to see if any of the pulley are dragging or the cable is snared. Another thing I would look for is that top plate selector pole is straight . I would loosen the allen bolt 8mm put the selector pin in one lower plate holes then tighten the bolt. If that solve the problem I take the weight stack apart and inspect the bushing for burrs that may be causing the drag.

Weider 3650 home gym. Delay on the weights dropping back down.

With weider pulleys you will find that either the little retainer L shaped piece has moved on one or more of the pulleys or the pulleys are scraping against each other.<br />The plastic coating on the cables will start to show wear or you will be able to feel it in a while.<br />Also check to make sure the cables are around all the pulleys, and have not shifted to the shafts.<br />
