There should be a rubber slotted cover that key goes through. This should pop off with a screw driver to expose hex nut. Unscrew hex nut and replace switch.

I always got a Error #2046 on zwinky and i cant play it please help me

There exist many reasons for running into various error messages on your computer; if you've noticed an access runtime error 2046 in recent days, don't despair. You must realize that the lion's share of pc problems may promptly be sorted out although you may lack advanced computer skills. Scan the following few paragraphs and i will explain a quick and effective way to solve this error message problem.

Before you start, it's of great importance that you figure out the root of these problems. With a lot of these occurrences, your windows registry turns out to be involved - this is the location where windows keeps track of your activity. It keeps all records of the programs and hardware you've added, not to mention the links to the files that operate these applications. It is often the case that a broken link or damaged registry can be the reason for an access runtime error 2046 and a variety of other troubles, which can include slow response, lock-ups, and .dll errors.

Several other factors in getting runtime errors are the improper loading or removal of software programs, errors which can be caused by having many different applications on your pc, infections with viruses and spyware, etc. Once more, all of these factors can cause missing or damaged links in your windows registry, thus leading your windows to display all of those troublesome error alerts, or even worse problems

You can solve these problems in a number of different ways; the hard part is that you don't always know which specific program(s), or which specific corrupted registry configuration(s) may be the reason for the problems. In this scenario, particularly if you are not proficient in computer technology, you can choose from two possibilities: take the expensive route and hire a computer specialist, or simply download a specialized registry cleaner.

A registry cleaner is a tool that automatically scans your pc and finds a multitude of abnormalities common in personal computers; the tool does more than just detect these problems, it automatically takes care of the problem and restores your computer to its maximum efficiency. So the next time you encounter an access runtime error 2046, it is recommended to download one of these tools, many out there provide free computer scans and a limited number of free fixes. Now's your chance to eliminate this difficulty with just a few minutes of your time.

How do i remove a broken key from the ignition of a 1996 gran am

will try to assist you. #1 solution remove and replace the ignition switch.#2 try a 'Q' tip with super glue and insert the Q tip into the key switch and allow drying time to let the Q tip to dry onto the broken part of key to remove. but if the key was twisted in anger or frustration, this solution will not work, just to save you the time.only other altenative is to remove the key switch and install new one. only good news is this, if your key is solid metal and no plastic, theres no computer issues with replacing the ignition switch.otherwise with plastic end on the thumb side,$75.00 and you would have to order the key from dealer only with the cars vin# and deposit up front and 2 day wait. if you need assistance removing the steering column to replace that switch, please repost your questions to

Key is stuck in broken ignition of 1994 Honda accord EX .How do i remove broken ignition and replace a new one .Thanks

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION 1994-95 Accord NOTE: Do not attempt to remove the ignition switch assembly if you do not have replacement bolts available. These special bolts have break-away heads which shear off when tightened. This is an "anti-theft'' measure used to prevent easy removal of the bolts. Fig. 2: Shear bolts must be used for reinstallation 86806113.gif
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and disable the SRS system.
  2. Remove the dashboard lower cover/knee bolster.
  3. Remove the steering column covers.
  4. Unplug the ignition switch connector.
  5. Remove the two nuts and two bolts securing the steering column, carefully lower the column assembly.
  6. Use a center punch to mark each of the two shear bolt heads securing the ignition switch assembly to the steering column. Use a 3?16 in. (5mm) drill bit to drill off the heads. Take care not to damage the switch when drilling.
  7. Remove the bolts. Remove the clamp and remove the ignition switch assembly.
  8. Remove the three screws securing the switch and remove the switch. To install:
  9. Make certain the recess of the switch aligns with the tab of the lock housing. Insert the switch and install the retaining screws.
  10. Position the switch assembly on the steering column. Install the new shear bolts; tighten them finger-tight.
  11. Use a wrench or socket of the correct size. Tighten the shear bolts until the heads break off.
  12. Raise the column and install the nuts/bolts. Tighten the nuts to 10 ft. lbs. (13 Nm) and the bolts to 16 ft. lbs. 22 Nm).
  13. Connect the ignition switch wiring harness.
  14. Install the column covers.
  15. Install the dashboard lower cover/knee bolster.
  16. Connect the negative battery cable. Fig. 3: Be careful not to damage surrounding components when drilling 86806114.gif

Can't get teh steering wheel off (ignition switch needs replacing

If you took the center nut and washer off then the steering wheel should come off. It is a splined fit- try a little persuasion with a rubber mallet.
BTW... there is no reason to remove the dashboard or steering wheel to replace the ignition switch!
