Cub cadet..will not go in reverse. shifted hard last year, but now it won't go into reverse at all.

Sounds like a bent selector rod.

I have a cub cadet RZT54 zero turn. Last year the choke would not close and had to do it manually had that fixed. This year the choke will not open unless you do it manually. Hard to do for one person


I've seen this before and replaced the wire wrapped cable with a different type cable (plastic/steel reinforced) and that solved the problem. Hope this will help.

I have cub cadet that will not move forward or reverse it has a dive shift not a belt


Jack the machine up and with it in gear try turning the drive wheels by hand. DO NOT START ENGINE. If they turn by hand with no force being used then I suspect you have broken the shear pin in the drive wheels or in the drive shaft.

Cub cadet are not supposed to allow mowing in reverse.
That is what you bought,. be happpppppy!

Cub Cadet 1525 belt diagram

Have you check the fluid leval in it at all, It could be right down if you never check it ,End everry thing in it siezed up.
