My dragon touch 7 inch tablet doesnt start up. the screen goes directly to white and it wont go from there

There are a couple things that could cause that. Does it still have sound? If you can hear the sound continue, it is likely caused by either damage underneath the screen, moisture inside it, heat/sun damage, etc.

I had my phone less than a month and it dropped and my screen cracked but I ordered it online and picked it up at the Wal-Mart store what do I do

physical damage is usually not covered under any device warranty. Suggest looking at manufacturer web site for a phone repair place.
I smashed my 2 week old lg mobile's screen and the digitiser under the screen. It was not covered under warranty but as I am tech savy I pulled my phone to pieces and replaced the digitiser and screen from a you tube video.

But you have to be careful as if digitizer is not damaged you can damage it with too much force trying to lift the screen and also from too much heat trying to melt the glue that holds down the screen.

I replaced the screen, an easy thing i have done before, but the note two wont turn on and heats up! Strangely, it seems to heat up in different places every time! Help!

I suggest to take it apart and put together again.
Check any wires/cables not pinched or touching (short circuiting areas on motherboard )
Failing that consider screen is faulty

Heat damage

This is not a good indication. Led screens are especially sensitive to heat. You may have damaged the led panel. If so, it will have to be replaced.

Have acer one notebook. cant restore even with restore disk. a friend bought one at the same time june 2009. acer customer support said there is nothing they can without sending in for repair. did check...

You won't physically see damage from heat. It is the CPU and motherboard that gets damaged when it overheats. If they did a recall they might cover replacement even though it is several years old now. You might want to ask them.

Blackberry curve 8520 buttons dont work. im scared to put my bb in the oven wont it blow up? buttons havent worked in days but screens come on will it not melt?

dont put it in oven!
sounds like water damage,
remove battery & place it screen down under a lamp.

the heat will evaporate the moisture in phone.
heat on battery is a good way to half life then.

Spilled grease in my phone. it still works but has grease in screen. I want to open up the casing and clean it out. How can I?

get a screw driver, remove the battery, loose the phone, then put the screen/panel near heat, feel the heat temperature, so that the heat will not damage the screen/panel.

Even if you don't loose the phone, you can aswell put the phone near heat and it will dry it from outside.

The grease can also dry by itself even if you don't put it near heat. It will gradually dry up as the screen light will dry it up.

take care.

Had a paper jam yesterday and after removing jam screen is staing "over heat" this a a xerox workcentre pro412

"Overheat" on this machine occurs when the fuser element has over heated usually caused in jams because the paper BLOCKS the heat sensor.
Shut off your machine, wait 30 minutes to let cool off or an Hour if you have more time then re-start your copier again, if the Fuser isn't damaged the machine will reset itself. If the Problem presist then you accidentally Damaged the Fuser. If you need one Ihave those available and if your in the Connecticut area you can place a service call and we will be happy to do it.

2 thin vertical line on lcd monitor

The thin ribbon that connects the board on the back of the lcd screen to the front glass of the lcd screen got damaged.
It wraps around the top of the screen and is very thin and can be easily damaged.
May be from old age and heat at the top of the screen or it could have gotten hit at the top.
If you keep pushing it in and out you may damage another one and make another line.
The cheapest way to repair this is to replace the lcd screen with a good used one because trying to find a shop to try to repair it would cost more than a new monitor.
Sorry there isn't an easy fix to this.
