HP 1410 all in one printer problems

I have been trying to print a calender off Microsoft Publisher, but it only prints out 3/4 of the project then and spits out the paper not finished. I tried using fast print under properties, I tired changing the spooling to direct print. But nothing works. This also happens from time to time on Adobe files I need to print.

The printer is not printing some pages set to 600 dpi. I have to set it to "Fast-Normal" to print. How to rectify this?

Can't print to 1410 after I upgraded to Leopard

I believe I had a similar problem. Try this:
Go to System Preferences > Print & Fax > '+'
Select the Epson 1410 and then under Print Using go to Select a driver to use the Epson Styls Phot 1410 - Gutenprint v5.1.3

I hope it helps.

HP cannot offer the driver for Windows 98 and ME due to licensing issues with MIcrosoft. You can download the driver from this site, use the "alternate server" site.

Printing problem

Well, as I dont know what exactly youre doing I will advise you to do the stantard process:

1. Uninstall the printer completely (COMPLETELY)
2. Copy ALL the document and paste it over a new one (WORD, PUBLISHER... same thing) just open a new document and paste all the text and save it with a different name.
3. Restart the computer
4. Reinstall the driver again and make sure it is OK by printing a TEST PAGE...

IF OK and the test page is OK then print your document.

IF NOT 1: the test page does not comes out OK, then you have a problem either in the printer driver or the printer mechanism (cartridges maybe, try replacing them for originals) if this way thing still bad, you have no better choice than take the printer to a technician as I assume your are clueless in repairing printers.

IF NOT 2: the test page comes out OK and the document does not, (MAKE SURE YOU CHOOSE THE RIGHT PRINTER inside "print options") the problem could be your computer and not your printer.

IF NOT 3: it would be very rare, but you could have a problem with the spool service (the windows service that manages printing matters) but in this case nothing shoud be printed ok. So if the test page is ok, the problem is NOT your printer and you should look for the problem in your computer or your operative system.

Best luck!
