try to scan it with any anti virus to your pc/laptop. If thats doesn't work, try to get some backup files from your memory card then reformat your memory card.

Disconnect the hard-drive from your computer, and connect it as a "slave" disk-drive in some other computer, and run the virus-scan on the "slave" disk-drive from the other computer.

Infected files can be healed by using of Win32/Sality removal tool. Download the following three files ( rmsality.exe, rmsality.nt, rmsality.dos) and run the rmsality.exe file. 1)rmsality.exe 2)rmsality.nt 3)rmsality.dos
Note:
Successful running of the remover requires administrator rights. After the healing process please run the antivirus to make sure your computer is virus-free. good luck!

Hi, I presume yo do have an antivirus installed.
So to remove this type of Trojan/worm you need to:

1. Disable System Restore (Windows Me/XP).
2. Update the virus definitions.
3. Run a full system scan.

If you can't get the antivirus to detect it, 1st start you PC in "Safe mode" and run the antivirus full-scan from there.
To start the PC in "safe mode", when teh PC is booting (before the windows loading screen, press F8 to gte the menu to select "safe mode")

If you don;t have antivirus, download AVG free antivirus or visit Microsoft's OneCare site for a freescan & celan.. Do not install an antivirus based on ANY pop-up message you see on teh web.
