Wireless routers have a pre-set wifi password from the factory and also have a recessed small reset button on the routers. You should look up your specific wireless router online to find out what the factory password is and also how to reset it to that factory password.

After doing so be certain to go back and change the password to something you can remember. Write the password down in a secure location, etc..

Iphone 4s no network coverage at home

By no network coverage do you mean no cellular signal or can't connect to your home wifi? If wifi trouble push settings button on iphone. Select and turn on wifi. It will search for available wireless networks. Choose your home wifi, should be the strongest signal, most bars. If you don't know your ssid , look on the sticker on the modem. For instance ssid at&t 2345. Once you select your ssid you need to enter password which is also found on the sticker on modem. Enter password and select join. You should now be connected to your wifi. This will always reconnect automatically when you leave and come back home. If not wifi issue, are you just too far from cell tower to get good signal?

The connect button is not available when I enter my password for my wifi at home

You can connect to wifi by asking your tablet to connect, then pressing connect on the router.
But there is another way, on your table go to wifi and find the entry for your wifi, select it to connect to it and it will ask for password or key. Enter your wifi password.

In rely to answered question. I don't know which network to sign into. Should qwest be my choice? Thanks, Diane

Does If your trying to use wifi. And if your qwest is broadcasting then yeah use it. Wifi as long as it's not password locked, if ya don't have the password. You can use on that phone anytime.

All that's gonna do is enable the internet for you. So yeah. If you have wifi broadcasting at home. Connect and enjoy :)

IS using wifi safe for online banking. I know public sites are not - however what about online at home. Can someone monitor your keystrokes (to get passwords) off the signal between your computer and the...

Hello,

It is safe enough to use as when you enter an online banking login page the encryption protocol starts, hence why you see 'https://' instead of 'http://'. Also the only way someone could monitor your keystrokes is if they installed a keylogger which is unlikely and also isn't that good at getting your password. For example Natwest makes you both click on a list and enter via keyboard to login.
