Black water pours out of the heater system into intex spa

Backwash filter system, change filter media if over two years old, flush out heater. Check water clarity going into the filter system, if dirty..., you may have a broken underground line. Check water clarity coming out of filter system, if dirty.., backwash again and check filter media. Also, Heater boiler headers may be rotting.

RCA TV DVD Combo DVD makes loud grinding noise when playing DVD

does not sound correct. Perhaps the laser is hitting the DVD, or a gear is dirty. Anyway, if you keep playing with a strange noise in the player, it won't take long before it stops complete, or till you destroyed all your DVD's When you don't see scratches on the silver side of the DVD's, you should check (or let a technician check) what can be wrong with the player.

Static noise when using EQ in mixdown mode? Is this just a bad unit?

You don't state the model or brand but from what you say it an be a dirty pot in a Portastudio type model. Spray it with Deoxit and move the fader up and down. If it is a EQ pot that has noise the unit might need to be opened up as the access from the top is not easy like the linear faders.

On a Technic SU 610 amp, it makes a crackling noise when turning the volume pot up, if done slowly its not as bad but still makes a noise?

If it ocours only when turning your volume pot then the pot is worn or dirty inside. I f you are handy get a new pot that is EXACTLY the same and replace it It is simple if you can solder as there is usually only tree connections

Occassional noise when adjusting high med bass values

Typically anytime you can move a pot, fader, switch etc. And It makes any kind of noise such as static it's likely that it is justa dirty component. Deoxit is the most used cleaner. Most pots have some kind of opening on base that you can spray into if not then just directly down at the collar is where to spray. Spray all dirty controls and excursive by twisting pot.

My Marshall Guitar amplifier Makes Noise From Dirty Nobs. How do I Take the amp apart and clean the nobs?

the "nobs" that have the noise is what we call a "dirty pot" Some can be cleaned others are to far gone to ever work well again. To clean a "dirty pot" you need to get into the internal area of the amplifier. Most amps have screws in the bottom that hold the unit into the wood frame. unplug everthing from the amp. turn the unit upside down and remove the retaining screws. that should allow the guts" of the unit to slide out. don't force anything. then you should be able to see the "pot" from the top. If you can you get electric contact cleaner (I use the NAPA brand) and the spray stick (red tube) that comes with the can of contact cleaner. In a safe area (no flame or heat) you spray the contact cleaner on the top and sides of the "pot" then work the knob back and forth all the w ay to each end of the allowable movement but never try to go beyond where the knob wants to stop. repeat this at least three times. take care not to let the contact cleaner drip onto anything as it could leave a stain. I usually try to use a lot of newspaper under the unit and be careful not to use any more spray than you need. You should feel the pot getting easy to move as it gets cleaner. Let everytthing dry off before you reinstall the amp into the outside frame. Move slowly and take your time. If it works it will save you a lot of repair cost as changing out the pots is not fun and could cost almost as much as the amp is worth

I own a Peavy classic 30 tube amp. it just over a year old but recently i has started making loud cracking noises and i have to turn it off. any ideas?

There is a transistor in the front end that is starting to fail. This creates noise in the signal line that is being amplified. The other cause of this is dirty volume controls. Try spraying the pot with an electronics cleaner first.
