Phone got wet need to take apart to dry...how?

One method that has worked for many people and water damaged phones, (myself included), is to put the phone in small zip lock bag of rice to dry.

Simply disassemble the back cover, remove the battery, and place the phone in a zip-lock bag filled about half way with white rice. The moisture in the phone from the water should be absorbed by the rice after a few hours. This is best done every evening for a week or so until the phone has completely dried out.
It is best not to wait until the phone has dried on it's own after a few days, because if water evaporates on it's own in the phone, it can leave behind residue on the internals of the circuit board.
Good luck!

Dropped my samsung eternity in water

You phone needs to be taken apart and dried out. You probably shorted the battery, it will need to be replaced. If it got really wet, boards start to corrode and phone may not be fixable. Every connection on phone needs to be taken apart and dried, hopefully your phone will work again. Sometimes I get them to work again, and sometimes I don't. Good Luck

Display not working (phone got wet in storm). Can i take it apart and let it dry overnight?

You could try it.You even could blot the circuit board dry probably with a paper towel would be best.A cloth will lint too easily.Just blot at it ,don't rub.I have not seen much success when a cell phone gets wet because they are so delicate and small, but it's worth a try. It's better to at least try before replacing.Dry the battery and compartment too.Good luck!(You need alot right now).

Need to get apart to dry out

You will not wish to hear this, and I hope I am wrong, but, once wet, especially if it was ON when it got wet, 99% of the time are unrecoverable.

N95 got wet with sea water. No 9 do the same as " play " button

depending on how long ago it got wet.... if it was recently, take it apart and put it in a bag of uncooked rice, the phone and battery apart. if you keep it there about three days, it should work fine.

Water damage. spilled a cup of coffee on my i phone

remove the battery,
take the phone apart, dry the phone, includeing all internal parts that are wet.
(really take the phone apart the cover off and all parts that are removeable)

Might get it to work again, just might.

other than that, get the phone repaired or replaced.
