Question about Eton E5 Radio
Posted by Anonymous on
Unplug the AC adapter. Remove the batteries. Press & hold down any front panel button for about 10 seconds. Repeat for any 2 more buttons. Then reset with the paper clip. Do not install weak batteries, or try to restart or reset the radio after it shut off because of weak batteries. Weak, dead, or shorted batteries, tend to make the processor inside or the reset function to screw up.

This may be caused by a problem with some AC adapters supplied with these radios. (It is a known problem with the Grundig G5, which is supposed to be an identical radio.) I have read that you can request a replacement adapter from Eton.
