Most large printer manufacturers will also provide the necessary software on their website, usually under the 'drivers' section. If you google your printer namen and 'driver' you'll probably get there quickly. Then you download the driver (if you have an internet connection) and follow the instructions. This usually means either running an executable or unpackibng a zip-file.
In windows you can also look at the 'devices and printers' section under your tart button, and then 'Add' a new printer. If you have a
regualr printer brand, you'll probably be able to install it from there
