Trying to enter sim card pin number into smartphone. Where is the enter button as it says in the manuel to press ok. There is no ok it only has done or an arrow on the lower right hand side. It keeps rejecting the pin number. I put it back in my old phone and it accepts it so I don't know how to get started.

TV stuck on setup menu, no remote

Its possible if side menu does not stop it that button (switch under it) is bad.

About the only remote chance you have is to remove set and a box from power and after several minutes power them back.

I cant make the freeview box work without the operating instructions

OK - please follow these instructions carefully to setup the Freeview box. If you get stuck at any point in the instructions - or anything I've said doesn't make sense or match what you can see - just post another message here and I'll deal with each problem as it arises.

1. Switch the TV and Freeview box to STANDBY. There should be a red light on the Freeview box;
2. Connect the aerial cable to the freeview box. Make sure you are connecting this to the correct socket. This should be labelled "RF IN", "IN" or "Aerial/Antenna". If you have connected to a socket marked "RF/TV OUT" or "TO TV" or something similar, it wont work;
3. Connect the SCART cable to Freeview box and the back of the TV;
4. Switch the TV on;
5. Switch the Freeview box on - you should get a green light on the front of the box;

Most TVs will automatically switch to the external input when a SCART device is switched on while the TV is already on. This is why you should switch the TV on first.

At this point you should be able to see the installation / setup screen for the Freeview box displayed on your TV. If you cannot see this:

A. Press the INPUT button once on your SAMSUNG remote control once. This is the button in the top-right corner of your remote control.
B. If you still cannot see the installation / setup screen, press the MENU or SETUP button on the remote control supplied with the Freeview box.

The instructions from this point forward will be different if you had to press the MENU / SETUP button on the Freeview remote before anything appeared on the TV screen. If this Freeview box has been used before the installation screen will not appear, but you will get at on-screen menu after pressing the MENU / SETUP button. If this happens, please let me know and I will provide alternative instructions for setup.

Assuming you have been able to access the installation screen, it should be easy enough to follow the instructions on screen from this point. Use the UP / DOWN / LEFT / RIGHT arrow keys on the Freeview remote to highlight the relevant options and then press OK / SELECT to choose that option.

I don't want to make this too complicated by providing alternative instructions for every possible scenario. Please run through the instructions above and make sure you are getting an installation screen or "menu/list" displayed on the TV. If you need further instructions from there, I will provide them in another message.

Good luck - I'll await your reply.

Regards,
BElectric

Sling Box Pro - No network light, No light in logo, only power light on. Therefore won't connect to network. Was working fine. Tried reset button and also power off/on. Only the red power light is on.

If you are getting a light on the Sling Box indicating that it is connected and powered on, you may check your Internet connection to the receiver to make sure you are actually connected.

You can check you Internet connection on your receiver by pressing the Menu button on your remote. This will display the Main Menu on your TV screen. Press 6 (System Setup), 1 (Installation), and 9 (Broadband Setup). Once you are on the Broadband Setup screen, press 1 (Network Setup). An IP address should display on the Network Setup screen. You can also run a connection test on your receiver. If you continue to have problems connecting, you can give Sling Box a call to troubleshoot the Sling Box. Here is a link: http://support.slingbox.com/go/home. I hope this helps.

I have the bd230 5.1 system hooked up the speakers, attached the power cord and hdmi cable from receiver to the tv what else do I need to get sound from my tv I have a hd cable.box do I need to run a cable...

The home theater box performs the production of the sound generation. Also, the theater box, distributes the sound to any display devices like TVs, Music MIxers, DVDR, VCRs, ext. The theater box also has connection ports that are recognisable as receptacle area from speakers, woofers, and twitters that combined to form the home theater of devices acquired. First, start by connecting the component parts of the theater system to the box. For example, speakers to an area on the box, twitters, woofers. At which point, the box would require a power cable to an electrican circuit to display functionality mode. The next step is deciding on which display reciver would be providing sound to the theater setup of blasters. For example, choosing to acquire sound from a TV set is achieved by connection cables that derived sound out of the TV to the theater box. E.G. The TV audio output area provides the connectivity of any external audio blasters like with the theater setup. Using the appropiate audio input output connection cables to acquire sound transfer matters. The device may not have been provided with a TV audio input out cable of connections. Acquire from retail input output cables from TV to theater boxes. Remember that, the theater box may have come with a remote control that require separe operations than the TV. The theater system theraafter would require power on buttons if any separate remote controls were acquired as well. Also, the television set would require alteration settings with the remote control. Adjusting the TV sound settings to acquire or direct internal sound to an external setup infrusture is possible explanation also achievable with TV REMOte controller soon after every wireing cables have been established alos powered on to source of current. I cannot briing in a picture. Upper left corner of picture says it is on channel 4...upper right corner "no programs availab le"How do I program TV to bring in a picture.; I am on Insight Cable.

Typically the cable box is the source of your channel programming. If you're getting the "no programs available" you need to find if that notice is from your TV or your cable box. Check the connections from your cable source to the cable box and from the cable box to your TV.
Make sure that your TV is set on the proper source selection. Most Projection TV's have several (ant, cable A, B, DVD etc) check your on-screen menu for which one and make sure the cable is connected to the proper input ports on the back of your TV.
If you disconnect the cable between the tv and cable box and still get the "no programs "...then it's your TV.. but if you lose that warning, then it's coming from the cable box... If after checking your connections, disconnect the power to your cable box and let it sit for 5 minutes and then reinsert the power to the box and see if you get a reset with signal...... If nothing after all this, contact your cable provider to check their signal to your house and also the cable box.... Hope you have quick success on this!

Panasonic TX P50V10B Plasma TV

In order to get any of the Freesat channels, you need to connect a Satellite dish to your TV. If you have a Sky dish, you simply need to run an extra Cable from the LNB from the dish and connect to your socket on the back of your TV.
In order to get Freeview channels and Analogue channels, you need to connect a aerial to the back of the TV.
There is a menu option for the TV to start straight to the AV input (your Sky HD box). It is Menu > Setup > Other Settings > Power on Preference. Select 'AV' for your TV to start on Sky HD.
Also even if you have your TV to start on TV, when you turn on your Sky HD box, it should automatically switch to the Sky box.
