### 240/20x6-13+41 can't figure out the answer

You'll need to use the Order of Operations to solve this problem. They are Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction (Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally). Multiplication/Division have the same weight, so you read it from left to right. Same with Addition/subtraction.

For this problem, you see there are no parenthesis or exponents, so you move right to multiplication/division. Reading from left to right, the first thing you see is 240/20. Evaluating that comes out to 12. Now you have 12*6 (assuming the x is a multiplication symbol), which evaluates to 72. 72-13=59, and 59+41=100.

Written another way:
240/20*6-13+41
12*6-13+41
72-13+41
59+41
100

### (6/6)^4

Ummm... Maybe I'm missing something, but the answer is 1. The part in parentheses is evaluated first, and 6/6 equals 1. Then 1^4, in fact 1 to any power, is still 1. Just what was the question you really meant to ask?

### Where can I get a driver for Windows 7 evaluation. Please don't send me stupid things like "please contact HP co. for further help" I brought the printer from them, I have all my CD's and all the papers...

There is no such thing as "evaluation drivers" available to the public.

First of all, I do not know of any driver code that is not considered to be propriety code. Printer drivers are written to the specifications of the operating system. Windows provides a "Driver Kit" to vendors and they write the code. Window and the Vendors then evaluate the code as beta through Gold levels and finally release customer level code.

I know that any evaluation drivers issued by Lexmark were in house only and only issued to people who were actively testing the operating system and the print drivers.

At last that was the way we did things for the 15 years before I retired in 2005. FYI, if you did let code out to anyone who was not supposed to have it, you could lose your job. No questions asked, you disappeared.
