Re: SMEG Integrated Dishwasher ST663. I'm having

Re: SMEG Integrated Dishwasher ST663. I'm having difficulty getting the dishwashing program to start - requires considerable inwards pressure at the top of door before cycle starts. It seems as though the door closure latch needs adjusting, so how do I do this? Regards, Ken Tuckwell 18Oct2013

Usually a screw on the striker (the bit sticking out that goes into the door) it will be a slotted adjustment so just loosen (not remove) the screw and pull it out a mm or 2.
retighten and test.
Also, clean the seal. While your at it, the sump filters and spray arms.

It may be possible that something fell out of the filter and into the drain pump. The machine will do a short drain cycle at the start of a program and if it is jammed or blocked, this will cause this problem.

How do i fit smeg integrated smeg dishwasher

Not sure I understand the question. Are you asking how you fit your new dishwasher into the old dishwasher's hole, or are you asking how you get the actual measurements of the dishwasher because you're building a new set of cabinets and need to build it to fit?

HOW DO I DRAIN WATER FROM MY SMEG DISHWASHER

There is a screen filter at the bottom of most dish washers, if the screen gets dirty it probly won't drain properly. Check the screen and clean if neccesary. If not that, then pump may be getting weak.

Smeg integrated dishwasher continually washing - won't move to drying cycle.

you should check the heating element. if the water is not hot enough, the timer will not advance. crack open the door mid-cycle. let the water stop flying around. then open it all the way up. if you don't get a big ball of steam, you have an indication that your heating element may not be working properly. this is not too hard to check the resistance with a multimeter and then replace, if necessary. good luck
