a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: unlock cell phone
you need to contact the carrier or motorola for an unlock code. They are the safest. You can use some of the sites out there but if the wrong unlock code is entered too many times the phone will be permanently locked to the original carrier.

DISCLAIMER: YOU CAN SERIOUSLY BRICK YOUR PHONE USING THIS MENU, I AM IN NO WAY RESPONSIBLE IF THIS HAPPENS. USE EXTREME CAUTION AND DON'T EDIT THINGS YOU'RE UNSURE OF.
To access the programming (NAM) and service menu on the Voyager;
1) Flip the phone open, exposing the QWERTY keyboard.
2) Using the keyboard enter ' ##PROGRAM10000' (##776472610000), then press send.
3) The phone will ask you for a service code, MOST carriers is ' 000000 ' others will need to find this out for themselves. This code is called the MSL (Master Subsidy Lock) a Google search will help you.
4) The 1st option is for NAM programming.
...and if you find out how to HARD RESET, let me know!
