The "trick" with the collapsing the foundations playpen is to step on the middle ring while pulling up on the "quick release latch in the middle of the long sides first, then the short sides. Works every time!
This is a very old LX6 telescope. I have never seen a schematic on the internet. Except for these articles: http://www.astromag.co.uk/pdfs/lx6.pdf
This person may be able to help you: http://www.onealwebsite.com/AstroPage/Telescopes.html
and this on page 33-34 http://skywatch.brainiac.com/used/used_sct.pdf
You can also call Meade directly and see if they have one: http://www.meade.com/support/index.html
Finally, you can post a message on the Yahoo LX90 and LX200 group and ask for help from either Dr. Clay, or Ron Sampson. Both of these folks repair Meade brand telescopes.
If you look at the handle where the break is you should see two red buttons or round clips on either side. Press each side at the same time w/ your fingers and pull up while doing this. The stroller should begin to fold. Once it begins to fold you then need to make sure that the front wheels are straight in order for it to fold completely. Once folded you can then use the straps on each side to ensure it stays closed. This is not the easiest stroller to fold or transport but still a life saver when you have 4 children to haul around. I wouldnt trade it for the world.
