Question about AEG Lavamat W1050 Front Load Washer

Open Question

My AEG Lavamat w 1050 failed to drain and now the end light blinks 5 times. I've checked the drain filter as well as the exit hose for blockages, but neither of those measures have stopped the blinking light. Is there any way to reset the machine? Alternatively, is there a way to properly clean the drainage pipe spigot? Cheers in advance

SOURCE: AEG Lavamat E1050 End light blinks 5 times.

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean(ref manual). There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

SOURCE: machine can't get rid of the water gives no drain message

The motor is burnt out. When it is cool it will pump water out, but as it heats up and the insulation on the windings break-down is short-circuits and stops.

Aeg lavamat error code c6

Found this on the following forum
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/forumsphpbb3/washing-machine-forum/aeg-lavamat-86741-error-t47666.html

C6 is caused by either a) defective mechanical pressure switch, b) defective pressure sensor or c) Defective wiring to either a or b.

You may want to just remove the hoses from the switch & sensor, noting what hose went where & blow down them to see if they are clear. If not, trace blockage & clear, refit hoses & test.

Before doing the above, please isolate the appliance from the mains electric supply.

Another AEG e20 Plea, tried everything please help!

E20 on your machine means some sort of drain problem. If it actually goes through the spin cycle fine; some water will still not drain out at the time of the tumble dry. Check the wall drain to make sure it isn't clogged..

Check the drain of your wall, not the washer, this shd be cleaned out thoroughly; and the exit pipe of your washer should not fit too tight into it, there shd be some space for air.

How to deactivate EFO on Lavamat 76819?

Frigidaire, Zanussi, AEG, & More....

EFO = Filter Blocked (low flow) and it is accessible from the bottom front of the machine.

1. there is a blockage in the filter or drain hose.takes too long to drain out.
2. over dosing of powder or liquid. again can cause an air lock in the pump which slows the drain pump down.

Check the filter and drain hose and test again. this fault will only come up at the end of a cycle.
You do not need to reset the machine to get rid of the fault code as this is automatically deleted.

Run an empty load with no detergent in an attempt to get rid of the code.

Still not working

Press & hold 'end of cycle' for 5 or more seconds. Disconnect from mains for some time, or over night. Then re-start afresh the program.
