This 7 year old, front load washer has worked perfectly and is still running great, with one problem.
Water was noticed slowly leaking from under the washer. I pulled the lower panel and watched as the washer filled, washed, rinsed and spin'ed.
What I found was water dripping from two of the bolts on the wash tub. These bolts are half way back and at the very bottom of the tub, close to where the rubber drain hose connects up to the tub that is suspended by the springs and shocks.
The bolts are starting to rust. If I were to remove the tub, what will I find when I remove the bolts all around? Is there a gasket that can be replaced?
Thanks!

- The gasket is $17.00 and with the weight of the tub, I doubt that I could get the two sides apart (even a bit) without removing the whole tub. So thanks for your perspective.

The fabric softener dispenser does not empty in my frigidaire GLTF1670AS0 washing machine. What is causing that and how can I fix it? I already took out the dispenser and cleaned it up.
