DMM was not recognizing my HDD120 so I reformatted it, and I have lost the players software, "playlist, genre, tracks" etc page.I now have a rather large exclamation mark on the screen ! Oops! On the "MY COMPUTER" page, the player is recognized as a local disc. How to I get the little tinker working again?

Following some issues it looked as if the Hard drive was damage, took it out hooked it up to a pc all fine but some of the philips files were reported as corrupted, reassembled and tried to repair using the HDD tool but it just doesnt see the unit - have you had any look?

I have a Philips Jukebox HDD120 (20 GB) Digital Media Player and i would like to know if its software is compatible with the new Windows7 software? I don't wanna start and loose everything on it...

According to Philips:
----------
The player does not support Windows 7.

It is because the player was designed before the release of newer technologies such as Windows 7. Given the technological design, a driver for making the player to support Window 7 is not possible.

The player supports Windows 2000, XP and Vista.

I'm a bit late to the party here but the solution is to right click the shortcut to the Philips DMM and run as an Administrator. It all works fine if you do.

HDD120 MP3

Plug your HDD120 player into the computer via the USB lead and you should see it appear as an HD drive under My Computer. Click on the icon and you should be able to see some folders on the drive. The music folder is a hidden one which can be revealed by clicking (Tools-Folder Options-View) and selecting show hidden folders. The music can then be copy/pasted onto your computer.
