Question about Car Audio & Video
I bought two brand new autotek speakers for the rear of my caprice classic 92. It's not the speaker, so what is the other possibilities and how would I fix it.
Check the Balance control first
Trace your wires to make sure you have them connected properly
Use a 1.5v flashlight battery to determine if your wires are connected all the way back to the speaker. Just touch the neg and positive on the ends of the battery, you will ghear a click in the speake if you have the right wires.

Your aftermarket radio may only have a 4 channel amplifier and will only be able to power four speakers. The only way of having the other speakers work would be to wire in an external amplifier

With the lack of information provided all I can suggest is ..
1. are the speaker wires connected at the radio? 2. are there rear speakers and if so do they work? 3. make sure the fader control isn't set to rear, this would shut your front speakers off
