Replace driver side window regulator & motor

You will need to remove the door panel. To do this look for screws on bottom and the armrest also some by the door handle. after you get the screws out start at bottom and carefully pry out the door panel. There are clips that pop out. once you have disengaged the clips you will need to slide the door panel up to remove it. Then locate the bolts that hold the regulator and motor and remove them. The motor should come out with the regulator together. \you will need to unplug the elect. connectors. Be careful not to drop glass into door as it could break. \you will see how the glass attaches to the regulator. ( reverse to install new regulator)

Blew off regulator knob

Parts can be ordered form www.toolpartsdirect.com. Air regulator should be adjusted with very little air pressure in the system. If you are adjusting the regulator with full tank pressure, you are overworking the plastic parts within. Over time, water will rust parts inside of the regulator. I would order the complete regulator. You could also remove the regulator part of the manafold and use full pressure to the quick connects. If you need to regulate the air pressure down a bit, purchase a universal regulator and install quick connect fittings. Male fitting to air in and female fitting to discharge port. Install this regulator to one of the quick connect fitting on the a/c. Good luck

I need a diagram to show how to hook up pressure regulator

This is my advice if you dont already have a regulator. Go to menards or lowes andlook for a regulator kit. They usually come with everything you will need to put a good one on your compressor. Instructions will come with it along with the threaded pipe to hook it up with. I myself just got a pressure regulator kit from Theisenes.
I started by removing my air hose from the tank, next youll need to attach the regulator to the tank where you removed the hose, your kit should have prethreaded
metal air pipe to go from the tank to the regulator (use thread tape or joint sealer to prevent leaks ) Now use your sealer to seal airhose to the other end of the regulator the airoutlet side. Turn it on abd check for leaks and see if you can set your pressure regulator to a set pressure If it holds without leaking you did a great job GOOD LUCK!!!!! SignedTaz

Removal & Installation of fuel Regulators on
4.8L, 5.3L & 6.0L Engine To Remove:
CAUTION
Three styles of fuel pressure regulators and fuel rails will be used in this model year. Each regulator has a different "footprint" that consequently changes the size of the receiving port in the fuel rail. The regulator retaining clips are specific to each rail-regulator design and cannot be interchanged.

I have an older Craftsman Air Compressor and the knob valve to reg the pressure seems to not be working. Can I replace it?

It is getting increasingly more difficult to obtain replacement parts for older compressors. If your regulator failed at a fairly high pressure adjustment, say around 100-120 lbs, you could just leave the old regulator in place and add a regulator when needed to one of the quick connects. Purchase a generic pressure regulator from Lowes and add quick fittings to easily connect the regulator or remove when not needed. You could also just remove the old regulator and work-in a new generic regulator in its place. Generic regulators sell for $20 - $40. Good luck with your repair.

I NEED TO GET THE DRIVERS WINDOW TO GO UP!! IT IS STUCK DOWN AND I THINK IT IS THE SWITCH BECAUSE IT GOES DOWN WITHOUT A PROBLEM BUT WHEN I PRESS UP NOTHING HAPPENS. I GOT THE DOOR PANEL OFF AND I JUST...

the window regulator is bolted or riveted to the door frame..the window is bolted to the window regulator(do that first).. once unplugged and out you can disassemble motor from regulator adn change out failed motor or failed regulator (big sissors looking metal arm system) usual problem is stripped teeth on regulator (driven gears)... if rivets held regulator you will need to change to small bolts/washers to reassemble... good luck
