SOURCE: Where can I find TR888

We found one on ebay. I think it might be hit or miss, but it's worth saving a search in case someone has one to sell.
Also, it couldn't hurt to ask some of these users who are buying new machines if their paddles are still functioning. You might get a better deal from a fellow breadmaker user! (I think I paid an arm and a leg for ours).
Good luck! My husband and I were quite dismayed when our paddle stopped spinning and didn't want to have to buy a new machine.

Freezer working however things are not frozen solid and fridge part is freezing things on the top rac

Frost free refrigerators count on a heating element to melt the frost away. These element run periodically on a timer. The timer, element, or temperature sensor can fail. I had a similar situation and the issue was the sensor. $17.00 later we were up and running.

The unit over the course of 3 wks or so has stopped keeping things cold and frozen. Now both sides are turned up to 9 The freezer has a big snowy area in it. I dont know if trying to defrost it will...

try taking the back cover off of the freezer inside it u should have a fan see if its running if not check to see if u have got power to it if u do then just replace the motor and see if this fixes the problem if the lil coil under that fan is frozen and the fan is running then u should have a lil heat element black running through the coil see id this has power to it iif the coil is frozen and if not check continuity thru the element just take the wires off of it and see if u have continuity thru it if u do then the element is fine if u dont it needs replacing but if all this is working then ur defrost timer may be bad ull have to get the wiring diagram out usually hanging on the back of the fridge and see where the defrost timer is and see if it is working or some just have a lil sensor on the freon lines right on top of the coil to let it know when it needs to defrost that may not be working stick it on some ice and see if the element starts warming up hope this helps

No heat drum turns no heat blower works no heat

It could be the heating element, a safety limit, a control problem, or an electrical problem. A heating coil is used to warm the clothes as they get tossed gently inside the drum. A blower mounted on the motor pulls air through the heating element into the drum and out the exhaust. The element gets old and briitle with use and eventually needs replacement. That is what you check first. On gas dryers vibration and age will cause the igniter to crumble and fail. If it turns out the element is fine then one of the safety's might be blown. These safety's are set to a certain temperature
for the dryer to operate safely. The drum temp control for cotton is 160f. A limit on the heater housing is 250f. If it fails another smaller limit is mounted nearby that blows at 300f. If that temp exceeds 350f a duct fuse mounted on the blower housing opens and kills most dryers. On gas dryers the duct fuse will kill the gas assembly but the dryer will still run. If all of those safetys are good the timer could be the problem. The timer has a terminal on it that runs down to the heating element. If you suspect it is bad you can check it with a meter. That leg of the timer should have continuity with other terminals on the timer at different spots on the timer. Turning the timer and checking for continuity will give a clue. If you cannot get continuity with any other terminal on the timer at any position on the dial then you have a burned contact in the timer. If that turns out to be good, you would need to inspect the electrical outlet for proper power to the machine. On American models the motor runs on 120 volts but the heating element must have 240 volts. If you have more questions just post a comment. Good luck on repairing your machine. Hotpointdryer timer problem

There are two coils in the heating element, and if one burns out, the timer will not advance in automatic dry. The timer should still advance when using manual (or timed) dry.

Frs28zrg leaking. frozen water in bottom of freezer. drips on inside of fridge/freezer. water/ice not working....should I attempt to fix this or pay $100 for my home warranty repair...

If freezer is icing up, you might have a defrost problem. Frost free models have a heating element that is controlled by a timer to automatically defrost ice, ie defrost timer turns on defrost heating element every 12 hours to melt ice in freezer and allow good air flow.
You can test defrost element with an ohm meter(located inside freezer coils-will have two wires going to a plug connection), if OK replace defrost timer (located in various places depending on make and model clean drains

Coils freeze up,refridgerator and freezer stops working

The defrost cycle is not working properly, there are three things involved in system. #1 Defrost timer in refrigerator #2 Thermostat on coils to tell if unit is frozen #3 heater element located under coils thaws coils when frozen. the defrost timer if it is manual < located at the front of light assembly panel in top of refrigerator there will be a hole with a plastic piece that resembles a screw strait screw head> it turns and every 8hrs aprox. it stops operations and starts defrost cycle by allowing voltage to the thermostat and if thermostat is frozen it allows power to element for thawing coils. If defrost timer is manual look for direction it is facing and mark edge to see if timer is turning< very slow turning and is easiest way> if you can get an ohm meter ohm the element on high setting< if it has continuity element is operable> check wiring just to be sure not problem. If you find the timer does turn and doesn't stay in one position over 40 minutes then the thermostat is bad.If element fails tesing then the element is bad and if timer stays in one position then it is bad. If unit is equiped with electronic defrost timer and element is good in would replace timer and thermostat to guaranty that resolved problem
