My avocado tree is 2yrs old grown from a pip. The tree is fullof avocados but they get to a certain size and start falling off the tree. What is the cause of this?

It may take quite a few years for the tree to be mature enough to grow full size fruit eg about 5yrs,also the weather has to be warmer than the UK. Also as you have grown this Avocado from a pip it may not suitable to grow to maturity. So sorry there are a few reasons why you may never be able to grow + eat these lovely fruit.

Hello, Richard -

The Aristocrat pear tree is an ornamental pear tree. The "fuzzy orange berries" on your tree are the fruit, which are edible by birds, but not humans..

You can read a bit more about Aristocrat pear trees here:

Mandarin tree been bearing fruit 4--5-years --this year only dirty brown skins on about 80% of fruit-have you any ideas as to what it may be ?

It is caused by a fungus, you need to start treatment before the fruit starts to grow, it will need to be sprayed over a period of about one month at least 4 times, no guarantee though.

Can a fig tree grow in louisville kentucky climate?

You should be able to. Remember the fruit grows on the second years worth of shoots. So when you cut it back in winter when dorment, remember to leave some of this years stems to get a good crop in late July. You can usually keep it as a bush so you won't have a hard time picking the fruit, and can easily cover it with a mesh to keep birds away.

Orange trees

All plants make their own sugars or starches or oils out of hydro-carbons that they manufacture from carbon-dioxide from the air, and from the destruction of water molecules where it takes the hydrogen and gives off oxygen in the process. Therefore more sunlight and more water will produce more sugars.
