Question about Panasonic PV-HS2000 Showstopper 30-Hours Video Recorder
I bought a cheapo DirecTV Branded Satellite Receiver that does not have a serial port. I have an old PV-HS2000 Hard Disk Recorder I want to use. I tried all of the IR-Blaster codes in the PV-HS2000 setup and none seem to control the DirecTV Satellite Receiver. Does anybody know how I can control the Satellite receiver through my HS2000? I do not want to buy a TIVO, because the HS2000 allows me to pause a show for several hours, rather than just 15 minutes. (I also don't want to pay for a service.) Any suggestions appreciated.
After digging around for awhile, the only onfo I could gather was that teh D12 uses the same codes as the D10 & D11, but could not get those codes, I am still looking around and will post any other info I may aquire. I would also suggest re-trying any codes for echostar. I can tell you this as I sell that equipment in my market and echostar provides the equipment and support for techs, installers, and retailers. Anyway Good Luck for now
