Check the temp in the room with another thermomiter; compare.
Or remove the Thermostat and join the two switch wires that closes when the heat comes on. Do the same for wires that causes the fan to come on. See what happens. If fan comes on, fan is good.
I cant help any further as I am not sure if you are setting for heat or Air condition.

My thermostat showing on screen 76F when really room temperature is 70F and I HAVE MEASURED PROPER room sensor resistance OHMS to real room temperature. Why thermostat showing higher temperature and n

Where is the thermostat in relation to the return? Is there air flow or is the air stagnant in the area of the thermostat. Have you placed a thermometer in varios locations where the thermostat is located? Try these locations and see if the thermostat needs to be placed in a location better able to reflect room temperature. Also how long have you lived in the house? If it is a newer home I suggest that you contact the builder or the air conditioner/heater installer to see if they have a schematic of the placement of the thermostats.

99 yz125 burning off piston edge at high rpms

Higher octane fuel is needed from what you describe. Without knowing where you are located and how hard you ride the bike, it's impossible for anyone to offer any jetting advice. Higher octane fuel will likely help, but if you (or a previous owner perhaps) have shaved the head for higher compression, you might have to run higher octane racing fuel.

Also - check to make sure the pipe is sealed well at the head pipe connection - if not, it will **** air at high RPM and can cook your piston.

Check also for leaking crank seal on the flywheel side (left) which can also **** air but will normally be accompanied by a very irradic idle.

2003 chevy cavalier overheats and heater will not work, have changed the thermostat and radiator hoses

MANY OF THESE VEHICLES REQUE YOU TO "BLEED" THE AIR OUT OF THE SYSTEM. THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING IS HIGHER THAN THE RADIATOR TOP,THUS PRODUCING AN AIR BUBBLE AT THE THERMOSTAT/HEAT SENSOR. THER IS USUALLY A SMALL PLUG OR BLEED FITTING IN THE AREA OF THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING. WARM ENGINE AND BLEED AIR SEVERAL TIMES AS REQUIRED HOPE IT WORKS !!!!!

Hello

Okay did you check your thermostat to see if you have the fan switch on auto? The switch must be on auto or the fan will continue to run. If the thermostat fan switch is on auto then there is a malfunction in the thermostat probably. You can go to your forced air unit and on unplug the unit. That way it will not turn on at all, because the forced air unit is controlled by the thermostat. Hope this helps.

No warm air only cold with setting at 80 degrees or higher.

There thermostat is bad. If you pull off your front cover there schould be four screws. The thermostat is on the coil itself. Take that to the local appliance store and they should be able to give you a replacement part. Part is around 35 dollars or so

Thermostat set to low.

If your A/C has a digital control panel no screw driver is necessary to reset the temperature.
