My marshall MXL V67 MIC doesn`t work

If this is a condenser micrphone it will require Phantom Power from the mixer you are trying to use it with. If Phantom Power is provided, check the cable to ensure proper wiring.

Shure MX418C connection to a wireless bodypack

The MX418 requires phantom power. Unfortunately, a wireless bodypack does not provide phantom power. Thus, you would need to insert a phantom power adapter in between the mic and the bodypack.

I am using the SL 2442FX -pro, my question that if i turn on the phantom power switch and i'm using 15 dynamic microphones and only 1 condenser does it affect the performance of the dynamic mics?thank...

Your dynamic mics should be fine, phantom power provides one positive 48 volt potential to one side of the coil, and a negative 48 volt potential to the other side of the coil so your mics will effectively see 0 volts as these potentials will cancel each other out ( hence the name "phantom" power).
so provided that your microphones are wired properly internally, and your xlr leads are in good condition you will not damage any of your equipment.

I hope this has been helpful

Rode NT1A: i got an adapter so i can input it in the mic input the pc says an audio device has been put in but i cant find it anywhere! please help me i also have an Acer Z5710

The reason it is not being picked up by your PC is because the NT1A is a condenser microphone and it requires an audio interface that can supply phantom power (48V) to get it powered up. Without phantom power, the NT1A won't work. You many need to buy an external audio interface that provides phantom power to use the mic. Hope that helps.

I just took my MXL 3000 out of the box and it does not work while pluged into m mic cord

This microphone requires 48v Phantom power. So if you are trying to connect it to your computer, you will need to use a USB interface that will provide phantom power. If you are connecting it via a mixer, make sure Phantom power is switched on if it is available. As the MXL 3000 is only available new from Guitar Center or Musicians Friend, they can also provide you with what else you need.

Mic to PC

This mic is a condenser type microphone. It needs phantom power (48v) to operate. Might want to buy a USB mic preamplifier box, like an M-Audio product, which will provide phantom power, xlr/1/4 inch inputs and USB output.

Cant get microphone to work

does your microphone require "phantom power" - if so there would be a switch/setting to turn on 'phantom power' which provides 48VDC to power up a condensor microphone. Let us know how it works out for you.

What do I need to provide phantom power to Shure Beta 87A microphone? All I have is a fender acoustasonic combo amp...

You will need a Shure PS1A phantom power supply if you want to use the manufacturers recommended part although any phantom power supply that puts out 11 to 52 volts D.C. positive at both pins 2 and 3 with a current drain of 1 to 1.2ma should work. Behringer makes good affordable ones. Check out this link: Hope this helps.

Need to know if we can hook a phantom powered microphone to our shs audio amplifier

Does your microphone have it's own built in phantom power? If it's just a regular mic, you should be able to connect into any MIC inputs on your Amplifier. Otherwise, you'll have to utilize a mic/line mixer to provide the phantom power your mic needs. Then you would connect your mixer to the amplifier.

Which SHS Audio amp do you have? The ones that I am familiar with do not have any MIC inputs.
