GO TO DEVISE MANAGER..AND LOOK FOR A YELLOW FLAG BEHIND ANY OF THE DRIVERS..MAKE SURE U OPEN... hidden devises... (by click on view..).and if its flagged click on it and repair it or re-install new driver....all should be ok then...if not unplug everything and restart pc and do it all again..when software is plugged in ........

I had all the same problems listed in fixit and found that all it took was placing all NEW batteries in the mouse.
Press the blue light button on the USB and the little black reset button on the bottom of the mouse at the same time. Worked good from there on.
