How do you remove the spout on an Impressa E8

How to remove the spout on the E8 for cleaning:

GENTLY GENTLY GENTLY

There are two parts: You will see the top part is fixed - it does not move. Remove it first, placing fingers behind the top of the piece, and gently it toward you. It will pop loose toward you - but not off. To remove completely, simple move the top half straight up, and it will release completely.

The bottom part of the spout is trickier, but equally easy once you know how it is fastened. Exam the bottom half. See how it is fastened by sliding on rails. Facing this piece, gently push leftward on the right side of the spout. The spout is flexible, and it will bow outward enough that the right side will come off its rail, enabling you to gently pull that side out. The left side will then come off as well.

Now you can clean out all the nasty.

Reverse these steps to put it back together.

What is the right way (direction facing) to put a new foot pad on a Barracuda G4? I notice on the the new footpad that one end is a straight cut while the other is rounded. Does the straight cut end face...

The best way to install the foot pad is to the install the flat part of the cassette to feed the foot pad into the grove (as you turn it). It always always works best when warm, so if the foot pad has been out side and it is cold, then it will need to warm up.

When the foot pad finishes, the flat part will be towards the back and the rounded part towards the front of the cleaner.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR REPLACING THE FOOT PAD

Unthread and remove the cassette. Holding the Baracuda G3, press down on the yellow clip while pulling the foot flange toward you. Pull off the old footpad and stretch on the new one. Insert the locking clip of the foot flange into the large opening, push forward to lock into place insert the cassette and tighten.

If you need any additional information, please do no hesitate to ask! We all work hard here at Fix Ya and appreciate your feedback as well.

My Polaris 3900 Sport Pool Cleaner's doing tight circles in the pool because the single left-side wheel is not turning at all, while the 2 right wheels are turning normally. How do I fix it?

I had a similar issue. When I lifted the unit out of the water while it was operating only the single wheel was rotating. I turned it off and removed the bag and hose. I flipped it over on a workbench and unscrewed the three recessing screws securing the base plate. Once the plate was removed I noticed the metal chain driving the two wheels had come off on the far side of the inner sprocket. I worked the chain back onto the sprocket and tested it by rotating the single wheel and verifying the other two wheels rotated. After reassembly I put the unit back in the pool and it drove straight and high on the sides. Hope this helps someone :-)

I have a Pool Eye PE23 and the instructions don't show how to install it on an above ground pool. Do I put it on the railing as I haven't got a deck for the pool?

This particular pool alarm is made for an inground pool. As far as I am aware, you cannot use in on an above ground pool. You will need a pool alarm that is designed for an above ground pool.

How do you put up a graco pack play

Hi, to set up the pack and play, first latch each of the four sides together. (Each side rail latches together in the middle -- just straighten the rail.) Once all four sides are locked and straight, push down on the center of the pack and play bottom (it's probably red) until it snaps into place.

To fold the pack and play up, just follow these instructions in reverse -- pull the bottom up first, then press in the button on each side rail to fold up each side.

Always make sure the pack and play is completely set up and locked before putting a child in it!

Sweep hose end keeps getting sucked into bag, any suggestions how to fix?

turn down the pressure at the adjustment screw on the side of fiting where hose connects to unit. then move the wear rings to differenct positions on the hose. you may want to cut the hose shorter as a last resort. unattach the sweep hose from the unit and let it sit in the hot sun for a few days then stretch it out straight while setting in the sun alot of the time the problem because it was never layed out straight from the time it was removed from the box and installed in the pool all the cleaner hoses have memory and you should never loop them at all infact once or twice a year I remove my cleaners from the wall fitting and lay the polaris in its side two wheels and stetch all hosese straight then let sit in warm sun for a few days to a week this will soften the hoses and keep them from wanting to let the unit go in circles and loop the hoses make sure all the swivels are pointed in the right direction there is a little arrow engraved in side of hose swivles the water should flow in the direction of arrow. make sure mender nuts are secure periodically

All the chains i cut cut to the right not straight through the log. The bar is new.

Pay a professional to sharpen one chain. If that cuts straight examine your sharpening procedure or the individual that does the sharpening.

the santa fe offers side steps, it is a solid system that mounts to the body and frame rail of the truck and extends out from the vehicle a little bit... other then that i know a lot of places sell aftermarket parts, but a lot of them if you put them on you have a lot of problems cause they are not made as a certain year kit, they are made as a generic kit and have to be made to fit.... straight from the factory side steps are the better way of going.... not anything other then that or you will have a sore ankel.... hope this helps you...
