Not very helpful info! I would try tapping f12 on booting up which takes you into the Dell Diagnostics mode. Then come back here.

Bluetooth dell

Download and install the bluetooth driver.
You can download the bluetooth and device drivers from Dell WEB site, the support download page. Make sure you select your model desktop or laptop, better still, type in the Service Tag number, it is printed on the label on the bottom of the laptop and on the back or sides of a desktop. (If the Service Tag label is missing then go into the BIOS setting and on one of the BIOS pages, the Service Tag number will be displayed). This will open the page where the specific drivers for your model computer are located. Also make sure you select the Windows of the drivers for your Windows operating system. Click on this link to download the drivers: -

I have a dell 1735 studio laptop. When I turn it on I have only a black screen. I'am able to do a diagnostic and I am getting an error code 2000-0146, but I can't get past the black screen.

Hello here is some info about your dell:

http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/desktop/f/3514/p/19342733/19736103.aspx#19736103

Error 0146 indicates a failed/failing hard drive or bad drive sector.
Basically, this means your hard drive will need to be replaced.

Even more here:

Here is the home page:

http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/studio-1735

A computer repair shop can help you with recover your data if is not damaged by the bad sectors.

I recomend to change the system to windows 7 (32bit) because the support for vista is out by this year.

Good luck

I need a driver for a Hard Disk Drive for startup repair.

You will have to download ISO image of Windows 7 Home Premium, 64bits, burn it to a cd, then boot from cd to get to the repair mode.

I get a screen which states a parameter has exceeded its normal operating range - which may or may not indicate a potential hard drive problem

This error message indicates the video setting of your computer has exceeded the operating range of your monitor. You need to reduce the screen resolution and/or the monitor refresh rate.
This is not a hard disk problem.
