What does it mean when all 7 lights on the computer speed control are blinking and the machine will not sew. Periodically and sporadically the machine starts sewing on its own without the foot pedal being pressed. The instruction manual mentions something about the bobbin winder mechanism not being set properly but I am not trying to fill the bobbin! I am just wanting to sew! But...it won't let me fill a bobbin either! Does anyone know what the Blinking L.E.D. Lights mean?

SOURCE: Threading my sewing machine

Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";} all machines thread the same. TTN tension, take up, needle.
Beginning with the spool, guide the thread through the thread guides to the tension assembly. Pull the thread through the tension assembly and test it to make sure the tension is working correctly.
(To do this test, adjust your tension setting to normal or medium or 5 or something in the middle. Raise the presser foot and pull the thread through the tension. It should pull easily!! Lower the presser foot and pull the thread. It should pull noticeably harder.) If it passes this test, continue up through the take up lever, then down through the thread guides to the needle. Make sure your needle is fully inserted and turned the correct way.( If you load your bobbin case from the left side, the needle rule is normally FLAT to the RIGHT is RIGHT. There are some exceptions. If you have a newer style drop in bobbin or your bobbin case loads in the front then the rule is FLAT to the BACK.

Foot pedal on my berninca active 135 not responding

My foot control began working sporadically so we replaced the brushes in the foot control. It's a pain (hold your breath and hope you don't break any plastic latches), but it worked. You could also consider replacing it.

I would like a wiring schematic for the speed control transformer and light on a old Necchi Mira sewing machine, please.

the light wires are not to be connected to the speed control but have a separate circuit to the on / off switch
if you have the light connected to the speed control then as the resistance to the motor is decreased it affects the power available to the light

I was given a brother cs-8150. The manual says it will operate without foot feed. I tried to use auto sew and machine tells me to change speed controller mode to off. Where do I do that.

Not able to find any online instructions for your machine, so here goes. There may be some confusion as to what foot feed means.

I believe foot feed refers to the feed dogs. When you disable the feed dogs (drop them), then you must manipulate the fabric manually--used mostly for darning or free motion quilting. In essence the feed dogs are no longer moving the fabric for you. Instead, you manually move the fabric and control the speed at which it stitches with your foot control. Perhaps that is why you need to turn off the speed control because you will determine the speed with your foot.

Foot control refers to the foot pedal that you use to control the speed that the machine sews (much like the gas pedal in your car). Some machines have the ability to sew without the use of a foot control unit. To do so, there is usually a button or lever somewhere to start and stop the machine. When activated, the machine will continue to stitch until you stop it.

Hopefully this will help you find a resolution.

I have a singer curvy 8763, the foot control quit working, machine will not work and all of the lights are blinking???

Reset main power. perhaps power off by unplugging. If that won't work then find the main operating buttons on the right side and push each one.
You should have a manual on this fairly new machine that will help you.

Machine sews 3 stitches then stops with all lights blinking and continuous beep

It usually means that your threading is not right, or thread tangled. I would totally unthread my machine, replace needle, and rethread making sure that there is nothing caught in the bobbin case area. See if your manual has any hints, if you do not have it handy go to www.singerco.com and download a free one and save a copy on you computer. You can also call Singer customer service at 1-800-4singer. Good luck to you and I hope it is only a minor problem
