Hi,

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Somebody's---radio frequency is matched to your unit somehow--and/or there's another unit made by the same company in the same vicinity using the same codes---with these new (smart etc etc) phones use all types of frequencies with the different apt's for monitoring house systems----you may have to get heavy and call in electronic guru from the company who made your system to find out the issues-GL

What does OF mean in indoor temp space with no outside reading?

Normally it means the compressor and or blower are controlled as variable speed, this is done by regulating the FREQUENCY of the voltage normally 60 cycles a second in the US, the lower the frequency the lower the speed of a motor, it is very common to see variable speed compressors and blowers versus on/off type heating and cooling, where the compressor is slowed or sped up as needed when heat or AC is called for, many units are designed like a heat pump either cooling from the compressor, or heating from the same discharge heat built up by the compressor, not a good design for severe weather fluctuations,

F0 or F zero means the unit is seeing voltage but it is not flowing as the frequency is 0 not O the letter it is not a code, it is the state of the voltage frequency, where 60 would be standard, above 60 the compressor could run faster but normally the control is done so 60 is the highest speed.

it depends on brand or model but there should be a way to get to the failure code, if there is a problem but that would be in the manual, the F0 or no frequency is simply saying there is power here waiting on instructions on what to do or go and at what frequency is needed,

What your looking for would be a wider BAND receiver, Frequencies you will have to program, Or look at the ICOM 2500 PCR computer controlled police scanner. with a Discone antenna. Cobra 19 DX IV, I bought this unit in america, but i live in the U.K. and can't pick up any channels, does this unit Only work in america, can i get somthing for it to work in england??? Thanks...

  • The UK uses more FM frequencies than AM frequencies. So the CB will work over there just fine but you will need to find someone who uses them frequencies as well or it may no be much fun. Here is a frequency chart for what we in America call import radios shipped from over there. http://macuk.org.uk/cbchart.htm 27.555 FM is the main frequency used in the UK but the Cobra 19 is a strictly AM CB. Also on the link on the far right are the standard 40 channel frequencies from the UK version of CB's and not one is the same as the Cobra 19 as the UK uses FM for their 40 channel CB radios.
  • Here is the 40 channel CB frequency chart utilized in America http://www.csgnetwork.com/cbradiofreq.html
  • Hope this clarifies things for you.

Is is possible to have a second cordless phone?

You may not be able to add to your current phone, but multiple-handset cordless phones are widely available. Just add extra handsets as you need them up to the system capacity. Just visit any large retailer for a selection, or check online shopping sites.

As far as tuning goes, you can't tune the frequency per se, but many cordless phones have a "channel" button. These let you switch channels while you're on a call if you experience interference.
