You have to remove the belt clip, then the battery cover. There is a locking tab at the top of the belt clip.

To remove the belt clip, press the LOCK TAB down , then gently pull the belt clip up toward the top of the radio.

Then remove the battery cover, press near the seam and slide the cover down:

Replace the batteries, observing polarity.
Slide the cover back on until it locks in place.
To install the belt clip, slide the clip down into the slot on the back
of the radio until the belt clip lock clicks.

Hope this helps! If you need more help, please ask!

XTC-200 Midland camera not charging

Check the charger. And not every USB outlet can supply enough power to charge batteries. Then check the cable and the connectors, on both the charger and the camera. Something must stop the current to flow.

What voltage DC charger does a Midland LXT326 use?

http://www.buytwowayradios.com/Products/Midland/manuals/LXT-345-manual.pdf

I don't see it in there either. But since the battery is 4.8v, my educated guess would be somewhere around 6v. Its not stated in the manual though, and you can't see it on the picture towards the end where they offer a charger.

I don't know if you can charge by putting your own batteries in there. I'm guessing probably not, they usually put a different contact in there for the battery pack so you don't accidentally attempt to charge standard batteries.

On many of my Midland G-30 / G-28 radios, when you turn them on, the display shows full power. When you press the PPT button, the unit shuts down and the display show OFF. I've tried many battery/radio...

I had the same problem with my Midland G-30 radios. The problem is with the batteries not the radio. I put a test meter on my batteries and saw the were not making full voltage/amperage. Got two new batteries ($15 each on ebay) and problem was solved. These are great GMRS portables. Replace the batteries and you will be very happy with the unit.

Good luck!

Midland radio battery pack constant vibrate

Hello pjbracht, I just responed to a duplicate of your problem. If they are new, return the battiers and confirm they are "by the book" replacements. If so ask for replacemrnts with a higher mAhr. It is not correct for vibration from a battery pack, lead, NiCad, Ni-MH, period.
