Question about Hitachi 57F500 57" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
It needs a new bulb for the screen. The bulb is using too much current, and is tripping the internal circuit breaker. This is common, and nothing to worry about. Bulbs for the television range anywhere from 30 dollars on up to hundreds. I'd contact a local TV repair shop for assistance. (Yes they still exist!) Some may even have used bulbs that are still in good working order for cheaper. It's a roll of the dice to see if they have one that is compatible though. If the TV was still working fine before this, it's usually worth fixing.
