Question about Computers & Internet
Are you hearing the disc spin when it is inserted. sometime the disc is just not sitting right to be read or failing these there has something happened the the laser and not reading the disc, most time it is the disc in not getting to sit to be read. you will need to open the player up and check to see if it is working properly. i use a battery charger and plug the power leads into it just to see what is going on. if you cannot do this take the radio cage out and unplug the plug off the cage and plug that part into the radio so you can see what is going on... this is a must never look at the laser as this will damage your eye/s look at an angle look for a red beam of light that will be the laser reading the disk if no red light and the disc is sitting in the right place then the laser has gone. you can sometimes get a replacement but that is upto you as the can cost a bit unless you do a search for faulty type with audio flats etc but not reading disks. then just swap over the laser unit.

right click on the drive.... go to properties... under tab recording, remove tick "enable CD recording on this drive" and press apply... after that tick "enable CD recording on this drive" and press OK.
It should work.
