Check your start up folder in All Programs first. If it isn't there, click on Start - > Run then type "regedit". Follow the path: HKEY_LOCAL-MACHINE - >SOFTWARE -> MICROSOFT -> WINDOWS -> Current Version -> Run Find your program and delete it. Use regedit with caution as deleting the wrong values can cause your system to crash

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Quikprotect is not able to connect to Iomega network hard drive, though it can detect it. I can see the drive in Windows Explorer and manually copy files to it. But I am not able to set target location in...

make sure you have the Lenovo storage manager software installed. Make sure you can see the device from the storage manager and all the shares. Once this populates you can then see the shares in quickprotect. I believe quick protect polls Storage manager rather than the actual network.

My hard drive all of a sudden stopped showing up on my computer.. then when it does its asking me to format it.. I need the info on it. How can i get if off

you could run the chkdsk utility on your hard drive if this is your primary hard drive that has your operating system on it click start click on the computer to open you should see your drive usually C: right click select properties tools check now tick both boxes automatically fix files and scan for and attempt repair on any bad sectors or you could tick one box and wait until its finished then return and tick the other box this should schedule this task when restart (it will only schedule on restart if there is an operating system on the drive)
do not do anything while the chkdsk utility is in progress any input may damage your computer
then defragment your hard drive also download and run a registry cleaner cc cleaner is 100%free

hope this helps

No Cols - Temperature Controls do not respond - LED display shows a dash "-"

pencj,
My honest answer is that I have seen this before and in most cases the board works properly after the reboot.
Although you may not have lost power, you may have gotten a voltage spike. I would cancel the service man coming out, (I am a working service man myself) he probably will give you two options. #1 Wait to see if this happens again and if it does happen again soon, the board should be replaced. #2 replace the board now.
My suggestion is to soon go purchase a surge suppressor to plug into. This does not need to be a power strip style. A good quality suppressor that only has one or 2 plug in's or plugs directly into the wall receptacle should do fine. Your refrigerators maximum amp draw is listed on the model # sticker inside the refrigerator compartment.
I hope this helps, supertechks
