I've inserted batteries the right way, all charged up, but it still won't turn on.
Check for the milliamp-hour (mAh) rating, and use the recommended batteries.

Remove the card and battery...press all the buttons...leave it alone for 20 minutes...insert the card and then the battery...turn it on.
