was not working the router hard, just coasting when suddenly it sounded different, in work out of work piece. Seemed to me a bearing had gone. Still rotates but sounds different.

Your problem is listed under router issues (PC routers) yet you mention a bearing failing. Did you mean to post this issue in another section?

Got a grease like fluid on either side of wear possibly centre bearing is but not leaking onto driveway

if you are talking center bearing of a vehicle rear drive shaft it is grease coming out from the failed seals on a sealed ball bearing
it is the first signs of a worn bearing as the seals can no longer to the job or the seals them selves have failed
consider replacement of the bearing sometime in the next few months but they will have to be replaced soon

How to replace 2007 streetglide transmission output shaft bearing. Can it be done from thr left side?

Never had a transmission output shaft (the bearing that supports the belt pulley shaft) fail. Are you sure this bearing is gone? The bearing that usually fails is the clutch mainshaft bearing that is mounted on the inner primary casing and causes a noise that can be stopped by pulling in the clutch and putting it in gear. If this is the case, then the bearing is gone. It is replaced by removing all component from left side engine. No need to go near the transmission.

Rear axle bearing, need to know if tthe bearing goes first and the seal after, grand cherokee 1994

Most times the bearing fails first but a seal can fail without the bearing being bad. If you see any flaked metal in the lube behind the seal when you remove it, you can bet the bearing is failing. If you already know the bearing is bad, you know you can't get it out without damaging the seal so it really does not matter if it was good or bad since you will need to replace both..
Since the axle needs to be removed to do either job, most times it's wise to replace both the bearing and seal together so you don't need to do it over in a few weeks.

Why are my wheel bearings failing again

I would say that a premature bearing failure would be caused by a defective (cheap?) bearing, or improper installation. The axle nut is what clamps the bearing and sets the bearing preload. If the nut is under-torqued, the best bearings in the world will fail very quickly. The 2002 bearing is a Gen1 style cartridge bearing. It has to be pressed into the knuckle, and then the hub gets pressed into the bearing. It the bearing isn't properly support during the press operation, and is pressed across the balls, the balls or races will get damaged... bearing is done for.
