I'm using a mac with 10.9.2, and when I'm using Excel, the screen jumps around - it's very annoying when I'm trying to manipulate the data - please help!

Startup your Mac in Safe Mode
A Safe Mode boot takes much longer than a normal boot so be patient.
Once you are in Safe Mode, click Restart from the Apple menu.
Then see if the issue persists.

I find 2 strong open signals but after saving them, I cannot connect to Internet in wireless mode to those open network addresses (the TL -WA5210G is connected directly to my notebook, DHCP auto mode is...

Incase Open networks are configured for MAC authentication(MAC binding) then you might not be able to connect to those networks. Even though Network is Open (Unsecured), if ACL (Access Control List) is enabled on the network then only those computers can connect whose MAC address is configured for that Network, its another Security feature on Routers.

Try connecting to some network which your are sure are Open (Unsecured)

How do I get rid of the grey screen with a ? File flashing

That usually means the hard drive is bad, but in some cases, reinstalling Mac OS will fix it...or you can boot into Safe Boot (Safe Mode for Mac) by holding the 'Shift' Key when you turn the computer on...If the safe boot doesn't work, try Single User Mode...
Hold Command + S when you turn your computer on (a black screen with white text will appear)
When all of the code mumbo jumbo stops loading...type (exactly like this) /sbin/fsck -fy
this will run a filesystem check and maybe fix the operating system if that is the problem, but like I said, that usually means the drive is bad...good luck though :)

My Samsung CLP 310 won't come out of sleep mode preventing me from printing. How do I wake it up. There's nothing in the manual or in Samsung's troubleshooting guide.

I finally got my CLP325W waking up correctly from sleep, but I made a few changes at once and don't know for certain which one (or combination) worked. Here are my changes:
1. disabled the USB port. (I had originally set up the printer via this port).
2. disabled IPv6 support.
3. disabled the dynamic DNS registration.
4. enabled telnet (though I doubt this had any effect).

My setup uses a static ip address that is outside the range of the dynamic addresses my router assigns and I use a mac filter on my router without any problems.

The circular timer startup screen NEVER STOPS! Powerbook G4

Hi

Safe Boot is a special way to start up in Mac OS X 10.2 or later when troubleshooting. Safe Mode is the state Mac OS X is in after a Safe Boot. To perform a Safe Boot, hold the SHIFT key as your Mac starts up.

Some features don't work in Safe Mode Safe Mode can be useful for troubleshooting. However, certain Mac OS X features do not work in Safe Mode. For example, you can't use DVD Player, capture video in iMovie, use audio input or output devices, or use an internal or external USB modem. The behavior of some devices such as an AirPort card may vary depending on computer and Mac OS X version.
Safe Mode in Mac OS X 10.5 or later also disables Quartz Extreme (hardware accelerated graphics). Applications that depend on Quartz Extreme will not open, and the Mac OS X menu bar will appear solid even if "Translucent Menu Bar" is enabled in Desktop & Screen Saver preferences.

Same problem!

I would boot the computer in safe mode and here is the instructions.
Learn how to start up in Safe Mode.
Products Affected Mac OS X 10.4, Mac OS X 10.3, Mac OS X 10.2, Mac OS X 10.5
To start up into Safe Mode (to Safe Boot), do this:
  1. Be sure the computer is shut down.
  2. Press the power button.
  3. Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone but not before.
  4. Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
During startup in Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you will see "Safe Boot" on the login window, which appears even if you normally log in automatically.
During startup in Mac OS X 10.2 through 10.3.9, you will see "Safe Boot" on the Mac OS X startup screen.
To leave Safe Mode in any version of Mac OS X, restart the computer normally, without holding any keys during startup.

while your in safe mode see if you can uninstall the drive software and reinstall it

My mac mini gets stuck on the first screen (gray with the Apple logo and the spinning wheel) and won't continue loading.

Start here...
Resolve startup issues and perform disk maintenance with Disk Utility and fsck

If that doesn't help, try booting into Safe Mode and see what happens, if it comes up hopefully another restart may solve, if not, you can at least use this as a starting point to try and resolve. Safe Mode will allow you to get around, surf, etc...

What is Safe Boot, Safe Mode?

Mac OS X: Starting up in Safe Mode

If Safe Mode comes up alright, I would install AppleJack, excellent troubleshooting article can be found here... Troubleshooting Tools: AppleJack

Another excellent free tool for performing maintenance is Onyx (be sure to download the right version for your system). Install the package, then run it, it will check your drive and the structure, after this, click on the automation tab and check on everything for Maintenance, Clear Cache, Cleaning, and check on Reset -> LaunchServices database and Mail's Envelope Index. When it completes, restart. Repeat any time something seems flaky, if not try to run at least once a month.
