Windows 7 randomly blue screening?

I'm getting blue screens all over the place, randomly. After a blue screen tantrum my computer throws, I'll leave it alone for a day or two and come back to it to find that it runs fine for hours sometimes days before having another blue screen fussy fit. SOURCE: Blue screen - Memmory_Management

You have the blue screen of death unless you have tweaked your PC to stop without restart it is difficult to read the error.

Did you upgrade from a x86 (32bit) ot x64 (64bit) version of Windows XP or Vista?

Windows (5) XP to Windows 7 - wet7xp_x86.exe

Windows (6) Vista to Windows 7 - Windows6.0-KB928635-x86.msu

Did you run the Windows7UpgradeAdvisor first ?

There maybe Memory Issues with your PC using Windows 7 especailly your Video Card Memory , it a good idea to check you motherboard for memory compatibilty some Motherboards wont take High Density Memory with Windows 7, check here at Crucial Scanner

If you post your HTML result of the Windows 7 upgrade checker to this post I maybe be able to help you further.

If all this fails I suggest that you do a complete install of Windows 7 unless you just have the upgrade pack, please check that you are using the correct version for your PC either 32bit or 64bit as shown above.

Computer has blue screen nothing comes up no way to get into the computer had an id error and now just blue screen

Some of the files had crashed... from that 120 tabs, I'm sure it's caused by a virus... Try booting on your windows original CD or Windows installer and choose Recover windows... It it does not work... you'll have to re-install everything and you'll loose most of the files. But if it works, immediately use System Restore and choose a date that you think that your computer was in a very good condition. Good Luck!!!

I installed the Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade (store bought) and now my Acer Aspire 5735 gets blue screens, shuts itself down, and random programs get the "**** has stopped working" message.

you shouldn't of installed it because if you would of ran the windows 7 compatibility thing that is on the disc, it would say that your computer is incompatible. You should buy another copy of windows xp and install that.

Blue screen on my hp

For nontechnical people who need a solution on how to fix the Blue Screen of Death, there is no simple answer to that.
TheWindows operating system constantly refers to the registry to get informationabout all of the components such as hardware and software which are installedon the computer. The registry tells Windows what to do and how to access thevarious programs, files, and processes.

However, the registry can contain bad information which sends Windows off doing uselesstasks or running unneeded routines. Sometimes errors occur including the bluescreen of death. Other times the system slows down. Because of the sheer numberof factors that can affect the registry, there’s no one size fits all approach. You can’t just go into the registry and remove the bad information because it’snearly impossible to decipher which information is good and which informationis bad. That’s a job better suited for software.

If you can get your hands on a Windows 7 (beta, RC, or RTM) it will fix the issue automatically.
Read the following sites:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/970101
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/dd353205.aspx
You’ll need to burn the Windows 7 Trial ISO file to disk.
