Question about Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick

1 Answer

Callibration problem? Main stick (although in middle) is actually all the way over to the right. On callibration, the cross is at the very right of the screen and during gaming, helicopters etc fly right (round in circles). Partners joystick, wanted it working for when he gets home (if possible).

Same problem as posted. Small movement in the middle dead zone causes jumps to the far right causing a turning drift in games. No amount of calibration helps. Reconnecting the stick doesn't help. Increasing the dead zone with the Logitech Profiler software doesn't help. Updating drivers doesn't help. The problem has appeared after about a year of use.

Disconnect the joystick for a few seconds and reconnect .Keep the stick centered when you do this. If that doesn't work, try the Clear Calibration Utility. Download it here if it's not on the CD that came with the stick:- http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/downloads/software/US/EN,CRID=1786,contentid=6217,OSID=1,softwareid=5484 Try recalibrating after. Try uninstalling and re-installing the WingMan Software that came with the disc If it still doesn't calibrate then the joystick is probably faulty.

I have a 51 inch Philips projection tv the red and green crosses are wavy in the middle at top and bottom of the screen

Depends on model number but if will not adjust in some area of screen the chips it uses are bad--not abnormal for the actual crosses to not be
perfectly straight but the colors aligned to them should not be visable.

Got some more info or a question?

How do i callibrate the touch screen on my Iphone 3gs

Capacitive touch panels, like the one on your iPhone, do not allow calibration as they are designed in such a way that it is unnecessary. Make sure that your screen is clear of oils and debris, besides that I would contact Apple to see if another touch panel is needed.

Colours not lineing up

The problem is caused by dust on the lower mirrors of the laser/scanner assembly. The dust makes the magenta and often cyan to fade close to the side edges of the paper. The callibration process prints patterns of colors just around the sides of the paper path and checks them with optical sensors. If they are not in specifications the callibration is unsuccessfull and your problem comes up. The main reason for the dust to occure is the main fan, located on the bottom, right to the laser/scanner assy. This fan gets the dust from below the printer and trow it in the middle where the all imaging process takes place. The dust and some toner get airborn and reach lower mirrors.
To resolve:
1. Take the pritner apart, starting from the back cover, side covers and the metal frame with the boards at the back. The laser/scanner assembly is behind this metal frame. Remove it and open it.
2. Clean all the mirrors from dust with lint free cloth. You may use isopropanol or glass cleaner.
3. To make it permanent, you may cover all vents of the fan with sticky tape. Don't just disconnect it because the printer will get error "main fan malfunction". To cover them properly, I usually remove the plastic gratings. And, yes, this is absolutely safe for the printer. I'm doing this for years to the printers that come to my service.

Retro Nintendo 64 Controller by Retro-bit is not working properly

This is an old question but Ill answer it.

N64 controllers always need to remain still before the system starts or it will lean to one way. That means if you hold right it will continue to go right.

Slow down always does the pause button quickly, there's no way to use a controller to slow down a game. If its a pause screen it might be fine but if its 007 with a major menu change it doesn't work that well don't it?

Turbo normal works like this. Ether hold the button then press the turbo button, or hold the turbo button then press the button. Turbo works just like the slow down. It will continue to send the command to do A or B over and over.

Boot error code 5d on a Chaintech VNF3-250 mobo.

Error Code 5d: Initialize Init Onboard Super IO switch.

Generally caused by a mismatched RAM stick int the MIDDLE RAM slot. Try using a single stick of RAM and boot, make sure you do not put this single stick of RAM in the middle slot, and it should boot right up.

Cant callibrate it in the right direction

If it can't calibrate you can do nothing about it.

Sorry I tried to think about that but nothing came to my mind except for giving to a game store so they can fix it!

Calibrate touch screen

Actually, the red cross's movement is part of the calibration. Continue clicking each individual red cross until you get a confirmation notion notice.

In order to calibrate the touch screen, the DS needs to know where certain areas of the touch screen are relative to the actual display. Basically, you're not really controlling the display. You are interacting with a hidden interface, which is the touch screen. But in order for you to "interact" with what you are seeing, the touch screen is laid across the display.
