SOURCE: PC can't read camera
We had the exact problem. The cameta may be set to web-cam mode, eather than PC. To fix:
Rotate the mode dial to Setup. Select Set-up2 menu, then select USB Con. Press OK.
Select PS and press OK.
The PC should now read the camera as a removable drive.
Hope this helps!

You need to format the floppy disc by selecting file, then disc tool, and then format in the menu system. Instructions on how to do this are on page 52 of your user manual. Remember that formatting the disc will erase any images on it even protected ones. I hope this helps!
Go Ahead. Use Us.

SOURCE: mY DIGITAL CAMERA IS A
This is what the Sanyo Customer Service team responded with for me, and it worked:
Take a look at the lens to see if it is crooked or mis-aligned. If it is, with the camera turned off, try to straighten the lens to see if it will click back into place. If it does, turn the camera on and off a couple of times to see if the lens will open and close as normal and then try using the camera as normal.
If the lens is not crooked or straightening does not solve the problem, the camera will need to be serviced.
The warranty coverage period is 90 days for parts and labor.
For non-warranty service, check your yellow pages for camera repair to have a local service technician take a look at the camera for you.
Please consider that the normal out of warranty labor cost can be around $ 75.00, this does not include the cost of parts and return freight upon completion of repairs.
