- Using Pr, Pb, Y componnet cables plus R & L audio out. Chose "DVD Exclusive Out" on back of Go Video DVD/VCR player. Used Color Stream HD-1 on back of Regza 52" TV (Y, Pb, Pr, L/R Audio). DVD plays great (picure & sound). Trying to play VCR tape and no sound or picture. Removed DVD, used remote and also tried front of DVD/VCR player to click on VCR/TV. Tape actually can be rewound or FF, but no picture or sound. I am tech challenged. Thanks.

If you are using RCA cables (Red Yellow White) the video (yellow) could be bad or not in the connector all the way. When the VCR mode is selected try pulling the yellow connector out then back in and see if anything changes on the tv.

If you are using another type cable let me know and I will help you diagnose.

Hope this helps

- Ok can you list for me the available outputs on the back of the DVD/VCR? I believe because you are using the "DVD exclusive out" it is only allowing you to view the DVD and not the VCR. I don't believe the VCR is hi def compatible. Just list the available ports on the back and I will let you know which ones to try.

- I think I have your solution. If you want to use the (Y, Pb, Pr, L/R Audio) for the DVD its no problem. You will need to get another set of RCA cables (red, yellow, white) for the VCR and plug them into the DVD/VCR output on the DVD/VCR player and the other end to an available input on the TV (video 1 or aux port) they will be color coded on the back of the TV so you know where to plug them in. Switch your TV input to the one that you plugged the cables into and then try a VCR. I am pretty sure this will correct your issue.

It will have to be done this way because you are using the DVD Exclusive port to view your DVD's in HD. The VCR side doesn't have a HD output so it needs another input.

I hope I explained this well and didn't confuse you, if you need anything just comment back and I will answer. This should get you going!

Thanks
