tonylad, Remove the pedestal by taking out the 4 phillips screws on the back. The back plastic cover will now be able to be pried away from the front bezel along the seam on the bottom of the monitor or sides. You may want to go to YOUTUBE to see how it's done. you need to search under LCD monitor repair or somthing similar. Yes I have seen some there that are about 8 to 12 minutes view time. If you get it apart please be very careful when handling the LCD/FPD . Next you will need to inspect the the large SWITCH-MODE-POWER-SUPPLY board. Look for any swelling of the tops of electrolytic capacitors. If you find any, mark them with a marker. With magnifying glass or a inspection microscope check the bottom of the board for thermal and or vibration FRACTURES surounding the leads of large THROUGH-HOLE components soldered on the board. Also look for any really FROSTY looking solder joints. Well, anyway good luck guy. Get back to me if you find anything out. I'm louie12fix on fixya or lmistyrel @aol BYE
