Is there anyway to add another hard drive? Like an external one? Because time has taken affect and what used to be 52gig is now 1gig!
I have basically no memory left. Also, I noticed on my computer as well as my normal hard drive(C:) there was a D: ...
It had around 20gig free and I dont know if I should save things to it or not.
I need a new memory device which I can store movies, graphics and tons of music on. I also have a lot of programs.
Please help, thanks. (:
An external drive would be a possible solution. You could also buy a new internal drive (be sure it is the same interface), buy a 2.5" external usb case, and mirror the data over to the new one. You could then install the new drive into the computer, put the old one in the external case and either use it as a backup or an external drive.
As long as that one has the same interface as your Dell it will work. From the description however I can't tell what interface it uses.

You would get a SATA drive (all the research I have done shows that your dell uses a 2.5" SATA 5400 rpm drive), put it into the enclose and run this, http://www.miray.de/download/sat.hdclone...
You can then copy your main drive onto the USB drive, the software is fairly straight forward, just be sure you are copying from the right drive. Once that is done, you can take the drive out of your computer and swap it with the one in the enclosure and bam, you are upgraded.
Yes, those products should work just fine for you.
