Model # KP-61V80 won't come on, red light blinks 4 times

The power supply wnet out and yes it would be kinda expensive to fix but this depends on how you value your TV if you fix it it would last 9 more years if you buy a new one these days they last like 5 years before the give out as well. So you decide on what you like to do at this point. a new psu $200 bucks a new TV this size in to the thousands and it will be DLP and not LCD. its very easy there is a small blues ceramic cap you have to chabge behind the d transistor and it should work
