My dewalt impact has power to the lights but the switch wont power the impact

Sounds like a bad switch or a loose wire. You will have to take it apart, you might get lucky and it's just a loose connection, other wise order a new switch

Water empties immediately DW711

It will be a fault with the water level sensing circuit, try adjusting the inlet tap pressure as it is a time fill and if the pressure is too high or low it will pump out. Also a flood switch fault could cause the same issue.

This is the newer 744 series, white cord to white motor and black cord wire to black motor.

If your motor needs the mag starter that 5th loose wire, usually red, goes to the start terminal on the mag starter.

Dewalt power saw wiring diagram for trigger switch dw-708 type 4 wire colors to swith positions.

The Switching should go like this

(single letters denote wire color)

Y---o o---R

B---o o---B

The contacts where the black wires attach are the points on the switch that break when continuity is checked.

Replacing a power cord for a Dewalt electric drill

some of the dewalt drill switches have a one way trap (like) for the wire. you push the wire in and the harder you pull it gets tight on its self. your wires go in the bottom of the trigger look right on top of each wire there is a small **** (no bigger then 3/16) for a flat head screw drive. In the **** you will see a small lever, it needs to be turned at the same time pull. It will help to have a friend.
