hello there soenensistva Well first of all Compact discs are easy to be read by a DVD player then ordinary Cd player cause of their lens are made for more compressed Data discs..there for try some of the options
1. make sure that the disc Surface is Clean and don't have finger prints or any other material that is disturbing the the read process between the CD and lens present inside CD player
2.if your CD is precious for you ( that consist some important Data you may need ) then try a DVD player for that
3.if both things doesn't work try a cleaning Cd for Cleaning the Head of CD player .
i wish that your problem may be solved Best Regards
not clear in the video the detailed problem. ok if dvd player won't read cd tried to insert other cd's which not the same region. if still won't read you can use a disc cleaner to clean the laser lens which too dirty or sticky .
Take a can of air and blow some onto the laser of the drive so that way you know for sure its not dust or dirt on the laser that is causing it not to read.
After you do that if the drive still won't read any discs then you know the drive is bad and it'll have to be replaced.
Try cleaning the laser lens. There are specialized cleaning discs available for this purpose. If the debris is too much for the cleaning disc, the lens may be cleaned with a photographic quality lens cleaning solution and proper photographic quality brush. The lens assembly is quite fragile, so use only enough solution to slightly wet the brush and be very, very gentle when performing this operation.
i would say for some reason your dvd player is not compatible from now on with that brand of blank dvd!
get the firmware update from the brand website all you do is download the file burnit on a cd and put it in the dvd player should fix most and eventual problems
If you switched to a different brand of DVD's try using the brand you used before. DVD burners are tested with certain brands of DVD's and sometimes the brands that aren't on that list don't work.
