You will need to replace the "spark module". Here is the part to order.
There is also a video on that same page that shows you how to make the repair.

SOURCE: 8 year old kitchenaid gas range nom fire in the oven

I went to the kitchenaid web site for parts and found a trouble shooting section. I read about how a electronic glow coil works and discovered that mine was just old and did not reach the right voltage to open the gas flow valve.

SOURCE: Broiler not lighting on gas Kitchen Aid SuperBa

I had the same problem with the igniter glowing and I could smell gas no flame. I took the broiler out.
Not as hard as it sounds. Took out 6 screws I did not have to disconnect the igniter, because there is
enough slack in wire to just drop it down a bit. Looking where the burner tube came out I could see
the orifice. I connected a safety pin tin long twisses and stuck the pin into orifice rubbed it a bit. Put it all back together. Just make sure the burner tube gets set in all the way don't force it.
Good Luck Joe C.

SOURCE: Dual fuel kitchenaid; burners work, oven does not

I had a similar problem. There's a thermostat before the control panel. You need to remove the knobs and the front panel to get to it. You'll also need to remove a couple of trim pieces to keep from bending the panel. The part number is Whirlpool W10017820, sells for about $40.

PILOT LIGHT COMES ON BUT WHEN YOU TURN THE KNOB TO ON IT DOES NOT LIGHT UP THE CIRCLE PLATE IN THE HEATER. IT JUMPS AND THE FIRE COMES OUT THEN IT GOES OUT.

I'm not sure what unit you are troubleshooting but if the main burner is igniting and that main burner flame is blowing out the pilot flame, it's possible the pilot flame orifice needs to be cleaned. The orifice can get stopped up and produce a weak pilot. And I've seen a pilot lite, but be blown out by the combustion of the main burner igniting. Now you stated IT JUMPS. If you mean the pilot flame jumps, as if it gets large then weak and goes out, then the gas valve is giving you trouble and may need to be replaced.

My oven does not work, range is ok

The thermocouple or thermal capillary is not the only cause of failure; a burned-out or broken heating element is more likely the problem in an electric range. You can check the element by unplugging the range, disconnecting one of the wires to the element, then testing the element for continuity using an ohmmeter. Access to the burner connections varies by model. If you see a couple of screw heads inside the oven where the ends of the element meet the back wall of the oven, you may be able to get at the connections by removing those screws, then gently pulling on the element to bring the connecting wires inside the oven, then undoing one of the screws attaching the wires to the element (avoid excess force on the element; you don't want to crack the ceramic inside it). If you can't get at the connections this way, you'll have to remove the back of the oven. This may actually be easier than crawling around inside the oven anyway.

In a gas range with a gas pilot or an electronically fired gas pilot ignitor, a common problem is clogging in the flame orifice(s); this is visible as a white buildup in the orifice hole(s). Low gas pressure in the pilot can also cause ignition failure if it can't sustain the pilot flame long enough for the flame sensor to enable the main gas valve.

I'm sorry I can't give you more than a generic answer; the model number or part number you provided doesn't come up on any searches. Perhaps it is actually the stock number from one particular supplier, or there is a typo in it.

Igniter switch on top burner will not shut off

try thoroughly cleaning the burners, particularly the holes in the ring that the gas come through. The gas come through to heat the ignitor so that the ignitor knows to stop trying to light the burner ; if the holes are clogged the ignitor doesn't heat.
The burner is easily disassembled from the top by removing a thin bolt, and you can clear the holes with a paper clip.

Oven will not heat up

When the bake igniter becomes weak or burns out, your oven will not bake. The bake igniter is usually mounted on the oven burner. It's about 1 inch by 4-8 inches (depending on the model), and comes in round or flat styles. If you don't see the igniter glow at all, it's probably burned out. Replace the igniter if found defective. Note: one of the exceptions could be that your oven is set to automatic mode instead of manual. If this is the case, set your oven to manual mode and check again.

If the bake igniter glows red and not bright yellow or white, it is probably because it is too weak. When this happens, the safety valve would not let the gas out into the oven burner. A weak igniter must be replaced.

A faulty igniter is probably the most common cause, however there are others:

-- defective thermostat(located inside the top area of the units body structure)
-- defective selector switch(located on the control panel, or part of the integrated control board key pad.)
-- defective gas safety valve(located on the gas valve assembly)
-- defective gas valve coils(located on the gas valve assembly)
-- defective flame sensor(located on the gas valve assembly)

NOTE(If everything checks out ok with the ignitior, and burner/valve assembly, this will lead to a failing control board)

if the flame starts make sure you don't trash on the orifice of the burner, you can try to use a piece of wire or someting small to pick on the orifice of the burner, also make sure is not rust bewteen the burners gap where the flame spread to all the burners because if the flame sensor don't feel flame don't stay light up

Whirlpool stove top- two problems. 1) burner is not burning hot, low flame 2) igniter on different burner doesnt work, no spark at that burner.

Hi

If the burner is not burning hot, and there is a low flame then this is often a pressure regulator problem. Most often the regulator is found where the gas line enters the gas range. I have a picture of what the flame characteristics should look like. If the igniter on different burner doesn’t work, and there is no spark at that burner then you will have to check the same items as mentioned above. This is a typical spark module wire diagram.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Replaced gas safety valve, burner flame now too hot

Take a 1/2 inch open end wrench and tighten the orifice on top of the safety valve.Probably about 2 turns. Then adjust the air shutter to mostly open.

Gas oven igniting but not heating up

Is orifice that gas flows thru into burner clogged/restricted? IF not, then Ignitor may be bad; I would replace it. If still same issue then gas valve is bad. Thanks, please leave feedback or contact me again for more info if you need it. Flame height does not change regardless of your setting- it's either on or off; thermostat is not like an accelerator. Thanks, please leave feedback or contact me again for more info if you need it.
