Pls Service the LCD Panels of the Projector, Also check the Fly-Eye lens, just next to Lamp unit. This will solve your problem. if it's not then the only solution is Replacement of LCD Panels, But Must check or replace the external RGB Cable first befor doing all this exercise.

When the lamp exceeds 2100hoursof service, the projector cannot turn on and the manu is not displayed. Do the following:

What causes inside the lamp to shatter. It is a NEC Lamp NP21LP. Projector is mounted to ceiling so it uses same power sources and doesn't get moved around.

Temperature error

Remve the lid and check that all fans are plugged in and can turn freely, if not a fan may need to be replaced, also check all other plugs which may connect to a temperature sensor, ensure that the projector is free from dust it can easily be cleaned with compressed air, replace the cover and power up, if the probelm presists there is likely to be a problem with either the lamp or the logic board

Projector acts like its turning on and then shuts off after a few seconds, what causes this?

Every projector is designed to check the status of various sensors for lamp, fan, inside temperature etc. It seems that your projector lamp turns ON & then OFF. If the lamp turns ON then lamp is OK.
Remove dust from the dust filters if they are blocked. There are many fans to cool down the projector. Some are blower fans. Some are exhaust fans. You will have to open the projector & check which one of them is not functioning. Replace the one which is not functioning. It is also likely that there may be some failure of components.

Cant clear lamp usage hours warning after replacing bulb on model NEC LT 157

Try holding the off button down for 20 seconds, it may be the on button. I had an NEC MT830 which had a standby function once it had reached and exceeded the lamp life safe limit. Once this had happened it wouldn't come out of stanby uinless the lamplife was reset. Your user manual should have the correct method of reset

Good luck, hope I was of assistance

I have replaced bulbs in 3 different types of NEC projectors: a silver, older model thta uses a VT60LP bulb, model VT595 and VT470. The lamp will still not work - the power and status light just continue...

I had the same issue, what I figured out was that I never removed the lamp door correctly, causing a small plastic piece to break off. To see if this is also your problem, inspect the back of the lamp door, top right corner, if it seems a rectangular plastic piece is missing, thats the problem. It presses in a small button nearby the lamp to let the projector know it's safe to power on.
