Question about Cell Phones
You can't "reset" your phone. What you need to do is "unlock" your phone. Then it can be used with other carriers. Each type of phone has a different process to use to unlock it. Do a Google search for your phone name and model and "SIM Unlocking". There are many companies selling unlock codes for $10-20. They also provide instructions on how to use the codes.
Be aware...most phones are either CDMA (Sprint, Verizon) or GSM (ATT, TMobile) and can only be unlocked for the same type of service from a different carrier.
